“Let’s start here the owner outside of food has A1 customer service. I immediately noticed of how much he has such an altruistic personality and that alone did it for me. From the signs that offer food to those in need , to the neighborhood little girl coming in asking for a cup for a drink and you can tell they respect him and come in frequently. It was such a joy to see a small business with the actual owner there behind the scenes and holding such meaningfully convos between us. Even though he was closing he offered to still encourage us to sit and enjoy. Now I can’t neglect the real real REASON . THE FOOD 🔥. So not only are you getting top tier customer service you are getting amazing affordable food . I rarely make these reviews but I feel compelled to do so. I couldn’t decide so I chose the 1/2 Hot Brown and the Philly cheesesteak . Shelby got the Cuban and a side of fries. The fries was a small but enough for us to share . All food came out piping hot , fresh. Mind you we got there about 8:30 they close at 9… most restaurants at closing time you are going to be faced with attitudes and mediocre food NOT HERE!!! Never felt rushed even. The fries crispy and seasoned just right 😩 The Philly cheesesteak you can pick your cheese .. of course I got the White American and at the first bite the juice was running down my fingers and I had to take a double bite 😂🔥🔥 The Cuban I took a bite and listen flavorful such a huge proportion … like we in Miami somewhere lol aye Shelby can’t stop talking about it we was light weight moaning eating…. But wait there’s more THAT HOT BROWN …. Again THAT HOT BROWN Whewwwwwwww that right there F I R E omg it was gone in 2.5 seconds. All it’s cheesy , saucy goodness with the toast , turkey and tomato 🍅 OMGOODNESS I’m definitely in the kids words “GLAZING”GORILLA BOBS because all around it was worth every dollar we gave. If you have not please patronize this small business!!!! It’s not everyday you find people such as the owner who have such an amazing selfless personality but can COOK his bottom off too ! “It was my first time ever being there and it was actually one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time. The food, service and atmosphere was just 5 star all the way around. I'll definitely be back! Prices were not bad either. $15.99 was the most expensive thing I saw which was not even bad considering it was a ribeye!”

Not only did my fiancé and I feel right at home, but our 8-month-old stole the show! The staff was beyond sweet, practically competing over who got to hold him, and it was the cutest thing ever. “My husband and I went in for the first time today and we have to say that we Were Not disappointed!!! He had the regular cheese steak and I had the 8 oz. burger, we split a cheese fry and we both left stuffed. We will be back again soon to try more, next time Chili Cheese Fries please!!! “One of the best experiences I had all day like a hungry caniac starving ready to eat my arm off the cashier Lou greeted me in a happy-go-lucky mood ready to get a order going full of energy and very friendly I had to get the manager just to praise Lou ! I always get consistently good service on Dixie highway at this raising Cane's I have never ever had a issue a messed up order or even left the parking lot irritated and that's easily done with me! My only problem with the franchise of raising Cane's is the fact that southern Indiana does not have the first they're everywhere else they are delicious and I crave it sometimes do yourself a favor and put one on veterans parkway!!!

“The place maybe not that big, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Owners go above and beyond to make customers feel at home. Every dish I've tried so far has been delicious, and the "Carne en Vara" is the best I've had in years. The only thing missing is draft beer, but aside from that, I absolutely love this charming Venezuelan spot in the Heart of Louisville.”

The food had the right balance of sweet and spicy, although it leaned more toward the sweet side, which might not be everyone's preference but worked for me. The chicken pieces were crispy on the outside but tender inside, just the way I like it. The fried rice was flavorful, with a decent mix of veggies and egg, and not overly greasy. The egg rolls were crunchy and packed with vegetables, making for a satisfying bite.

“I've been eating here since I was 17...(back when it was Shakey's). I'm in my 70s ? they have the consistently best pizza I've had anywhere, and I've been to all 50 states and several foreign countries. We generally get meat eaters #2=all the meats with mushrooms and black olives ?delicious.”

The meat was nice thick chunks and he said was a little dry but it accented the smoked taste he had a side of French Fries he said both were 10/10 definitely would order again. I enjoyed dinner so much I decided to get desert I ordered the Buttermilk Crunch for it was served in a cup nice cold vanilla ice cream on the top and pie and nice warm pie on the bottom. Was very impressed with this place. If my travels every bring me back this way I definitely will be trying more on there menu.”

“We just got home from here. My kids and I have been wanting to try it out for awhile now so today was our first time here. The place was clean, the staff was great, and the pizza was excellent. on top of that someone random paid for our bill. I don't know who you were but I am so very thankful. To whoever paid for our dinner you have no idea how much that touched my heart. I've heard of people do that and I've paid for others meals before in a drive-thru but this is the first time this has ever happened to me. “I met the owner of the Vally dairy freeze today. She happened to come into the laundry mat to do a few loads of laundry. She was so friendly and I asked her her name and she said I’m Shelly and she mentioned she owned this wonderful establishment, I’m not out that way much but I have had a cone or two from there years back. . I remember it was delicious.? There are other ice cream shops closer but Im going to make the trip out there to try some of her homemade Chilli and get a milkshake !!! I think it will be worth the trip !!”

“My friend’s favorite Mexican place is Pina Fiesta. I’ve never been there because it’s off Dixie Highway and it’s far from where I live. However I really wanted to spend time with a friend and be in a low-key atmosphere. So I made the trek, I drove out to Dixie Highway. Now the sign is a bit washed out so you may pass by the restaurant on your way there. The building is light blue and there is a food truck outside selling Cuban pizzas. We were quickly seated when we arrived. We chose to sit outside. The location was comfortable and there was some covering so that way the sun would not make it too hot inside the seating area. We were quickly brought chips and salsa always a good sign when you’re at a Mexican restaurant. We also got some queso. It was very good. It was the perfect compliment to the chips. The vegetarian menu was on the very back of the menu and they had a great combination of options. There were things that I have seen at other places, but there were things that were completely new to me. I ended up getting the vegetarian quesadilla, which contained a great number of veggies. She got a chicken chimichanga. It also looked very tasty. Our meals came out quickly and they were very hot. This was the most delicious option I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant as a vegetarian! Even the rice was good! For hot sauce, they had my favorite, Yucateca on the tables. This was an excellent experience, I know something that will take me back out to Dixie Highway- Piña Fiesta.”
