“Incredible Brunch & Even Better Hospitality! We stopped into Lindsey’s Kitchen for the first time today for brunch, and WOW—we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed, like we were part of the family. The hospitality here is something you simply can’t teach—it’s genuine, warm, and unforgettable. Not only did my fiancé and I feel right at home, but our 8-month-old stole the show! The staff was beyond sweet, practically competing over who got to hold him, and it was the cutest thing ever. It’s rare to find a restaurant where you feel this valued as a guest. As for the food? Flawless. I ordered the steak and eggs, and my fiancé had the country fried steak—both were absolute perfection. My steak and eggs were cooked exactly to order, and the country fried steak was so tender, it barely needed a knife. We couldn’t find a single thing to complain about! We’ve officially found our Saturday breakfast spot. Huge thanks to the entire team working on 3/22/24—I wish I had gotten everyone’s names because each of you deserves a personal shout-out. You made our day, and we can’t wait to be back! ❤️”

“I first tried Barry’s Cheesesteaks four years ago when we moved to Louisville and am so glad I did. In all my travels, including Philadelphia, I’ve never had a cheesesteak than can begin to compare to Barry’s. The amount of meat and toppings used is double the amount you’d get anywhere else and the bread is always fresh. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Barry’s is at the top of my list of restaurants to take all my out of town guests to. Barry’s story is so inspiring and I love the Christian atmosphere of his restaurant. 5 stars at every visit!”

“Everything is absolutely delicious! Tried for taco Tuesday and haven’t had one thing on the menu I don’t like. Their chips and salsa are fresh and you can tell they are homemade. The prices are reasonable and service is incredible! Can’t wait to try their new tamales!”

“One of the best experiences I had all day like a hungry caniac starving ready to eat my arm off the cashier Lou greeted me in a happy-go-lucky mood ready to get a order going full of energy and very friendly I had to get the manager just to praise Lou ! I always get consistently good service on Dixie highway at this raising Cane's I have never ever had a issue a messed up order or even left the parking lot irritated and that's easily done with me! My only problem with the franchise of raising Cane's is the fact that southern Indiana does not have the first they're everywhere else they are delicious and I crave it sometimes do yourself a favor and put one on veterans parkway!!!

Wasn’t very crowded for dinner hours “7pm”
Plenty of parking and seating.
Restaurant was kept very clean including the bathroom.
Waitress was very sweet and attentive.
Prices were very reasonable.
Friend and I tried the fried pickles always a great choice.
I ordered the salmon burger with chicken pasta
Was definitely cooked to perfection along with presentation.
My friend ordered a brisket sandwich
The meat was nice thick chunks and he said was a little dry but it accented the smoked taste he had a side of French Fries he said both were 10/10 definitely would order again. I enjoyed dinner so much I decided to get desert I ordered the Buttermilk Crunch for it was served in a cup nice cold vanilla ice cream on the top and pie and nice warm pie on the bottom. Was very impressed with this place. If my travels every bring me back this way I definitely will be trying more on there menu.”

“We have been here several times with my son’s baseball / basketball teams after games. We love the family friendly atmosphere & sitting outside on a beautiful day tops it off. The kids always end up playing in the grassy field beside the deck & have the best time. Food is good, service is good & they handle large parties really well.”

“Today, I decided to try China Dragon for lunch, a local spot for Chinese takeout in Louisville, KY. I ordered delivery, and the experience was fairly straightforward.

The food had the right balance of sweet and spicy, although it leaned more toward the sweet side, which might not be everyone's preference but worked for me. The chicken pieces were crispy on the outside but tender inside, just the way I like it. The fried rice was flavorful, with a decent mix of veggies and egg, and not overly greasy. The egg rolls were crunchy and packed with vegetables, making for a satisfying bite.

One small downside was the portion size of the chicken—it was good, but I would have liked a bit more meat for the price. Overall,”

“I've been eating here since I was 17...(back when it was Shakey's). I'm in my 70s ? they have the consistently best pizza I've had anywhere, and I've been to all 50 states and several foreign countries. We generally get meat eaters #2=all the meats with mushrooms and black olives ?delicious.”

“If you haven’t been to Stomping Grounds Coffee, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Dave and Julie along with the staff are amazing people who do so much good in the community outside of their coffee shop. One example of that is an organization that I started for Veterans and First Responders would have coffee meetups there to network and enjoy the camaraderie we once had in service. Each time we had an event there, we were greeted with such hospitality and love. Of course it helps that Dave is a Marine, but I have seen them do this with many different groups that have come in. For me good coffee and other drinks are one thing, but seeing Entrepreneurs give back while working hard to manage a small business makes all the difference. You have two amazing people trying to live out the American dream of having a thriving business in a tough industry I might add who use coffee as a way to pour into the lives of others. I am blessed to know them both and I hope you get the opportunity to know them as well by visiting the shop, grabbing a coffee, and learning more about the purpose behind their business.”

“Fish platter is a good value. The fish is actually better than I remembered from years past. Coleslaw is awesome and the fries were good too. Wish they’d throw hush puppies in there as well but I’m sure they’re good too. Def a hidden gem. And they take credit now which is nice.”

“My friend’s favorite Mexican place is Pina Fiesta. I’ve never been there because it’s off Dixie Highway and it’s far from where I live. However I really wanted to spend time with a friend and be in a low-key atmosphere. So I made the trek, I drove out to Dixie Highway. Now the sign is a bit washed out so you may pass by the restaurant on your way there. The building is light blue and there is a food truck outside selling Cuban pizzas. We were quickly seated when we arrived. We chose to sit outside. The location was comfortable and there was some covering so that way the sun would not make it too hot inside the seating area. We were quickly brought chips and salsa always a good sign when you’re at a Mexican restaurant. We also got some queso. It was very good. It was the perfect compliment to the chips. The vegetarian menu was on the very back of the menu and they had a great combination of options. There were things that I have seen at other places, but there were things that were completely new to me. I ended up getting the vegetarian quesadilla, which contained a great number of veggies. She got a chicken chimichanga. It also looked very tasty. Our meals came out quickly and they were very hot. This was the most delicious option I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant as a vegetarian! Even the rice was good! For hot sauce, they had my favorite, Yucateca on the tables. This was an excellent experience, I know something that will take me back out to Dixie Highway- Piña Fiesta.”

“It was a bit noisy and a little unorganized. We had to ask for silverware when our food arrived. But the drinks were full and kept coming as needed. The food was delicious and actually had to take some home for the potions were large. There was a large crowd present, so it did take a little while to get our food. But that was to be expected.”

“Good as ever. Service is always great and fast. Waffle House is a classic, this location is no different. There's a touchtunes jukebox in the restaurant if you're into that kind of thing.
