I haven’t tried any other food but the egg rolls and chicken wings. They have several menu options, from Asian food to gyros, to salads, and burgers, vegetables, sides, and soda drinks.“

“I have been a lover of Popeyes for over 2 decades. Over the years I had lost hope in Popeyes having adequate staff that care. So when I went to this location I was expecting a long wait time & rude/careless employees. To my surprise it was the opposite. Me and my husbands food came out in a timely manner and the staff was beyond kind and friendly! The food was fresh & excellent! This Popeyes location is now the food spot for when my family visits Elkhart!!“

“Hyde never heard of "Raise the Roost" before, but it was the only option besides 7-Eleven roller dogs at the Travel Plaza. And I don't do roller dogs.
I ordered a chicken/egg/cheese biscuit, and my husband had chicken breast & thigh with two little cornbreads. The whole bill was about $13, which I thought was quite reasonable for the amount & quality of food we received. And the attendant who served us ( I believe his name was Herb) was all kinds of personality! He was professional, welcoming, quick-witted, & downright jovial!
My sandwich was Goldilocks-perfect. Biscuit was crispy & tender, not dry (a difficult balance to achieve in "fast food.") The egg was good & hot, and the chicken tender was surprisingly large, with an excellent meat:breading ratio. Hubby's chicken breast & thigh were truthfully a bit too greasy, but he said they were meaty, moist & flavorful. All in all, a satisfying meal for a very reasonable cost.“

“the chicken is always way too breaded and greasy but I know what I’m signing up for when I go to KFC. If you want better quality…get tenders. Mainly went for their apple poppers, the sides (mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese cause it’s alwayssss delicious) & Mountain Dew sweet lightning ?

Guy at the window was overly enthusiastic so the service itself was pretty good.

Would I recommend? Idk. To each their own tbh. I spent $40 on two 3 pc chicken & 2 side boxes + 2 large drinks and an order of apple poppers. If you have a thing for kfc…this would be the place but you could definitely get all the food with better quality and probably same price elsewhere.“
