I had hash and eggs. Ended up leaving over half in my plate. Way to many potatoes with the hash.

Not being from the area we wanted a decent place to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed to leave. The staff is very pleasant as soon as you walk in. The prices of food was very filling and not as expensive as would have expected for the portion sizes. One thing is for sure, if you're looking for a great friendly atmosphere for breakfast and lunch that will fill you and not break the bank, Mayberry Cafe is the place.

This cafe truly takes you back to the classics—the wallpaper, the menu, the Andy Griffith theme. I’m pretty sure the owner was working as the host the day I had brunch there, which was nice to see! The service was plenty quick, even during a lunch rush. I had the cinnamon French toast and it was not only priced reasonably, it tasted delicious! The bread wasn’t too dry or too soggy (often the place where many burn themselves). My waitress was very personable, easy to hear, and attentive. The wallpaper is peeling off in certain areas, but it really didn’t seem to be doing so in a way that made me feel like the place was ‘unclean’, more so that it just reminded me of an older couple that just hasn’t gotten around to changing that darn peeling wallpaper. All in all, the food was delicious mom and pop; the atmosphere brought you back, and the theme of Andy Griffith tied it all together. You can’t miss this little jem. The drawing on the window is a warm greeting and ties into the vibes that you can expect from Mayberry Cafe.

Parking: Parking lot is very narrow/small and should be navigated slowly. Wouldn’t recommend larger vehicles such as SUV’s or trucks park there—they’d fit, just not all that well.
