Definitely the best ice cream around!

Disappointed by the lack of flexibility We came in with two excited kids hoping to redeem their summer reading rewards, only to be told the coupons had just expired and couldn't be honored. I understand policies are important, but a little grace—especially for something that encourages kids to read—would've gone a long way. The kids were disappointed, and frankly, so were we. There are plenty of other ice cream spots that value community programs and families more thoughtfully.

I love nearly everything about this place, except for the handful of times when I’ve came in and been taken care of by the older lady with short grey hair. I can’t remember ever having a good experience from her. Very dissatisfied with the customer service she provides. All the other staff, amazing! But she always seems to be very unprofessional. I’ve learned from others that she is the manager which was very surprising and disheartening to learn. I hope she treats her staff different than her customers or else I would feel horrible for her staff. Management if you’re seeing this, I’m not the only review like this! We want a calm, peaceful, and positive local ice cream shop, not a negative one. Take action on the Elkhart location manager please!

Always nice, smiling, courteous, people who take my orders. I normally get a single pistachio ice cream in an old fashion sugar cone that truly makes my day because it tastes so delicious. I don't know how they do it, but their ice cream seems to somehow taste better there than at other places. Whatever their secret you will find yourself agreeing with me on that.

Bright and inviting ice cream shop!! Lots of great options. Very good quality and prices. Recommend the coffee brownie swirl and triple brownie. They offer a flight which is four different flavors, which my husband and I shared. Wonderful!! If in Elkhart or just driving through, you need to give this place a try! Definitely worth a visit.

Kind and friendly staff; super creamy and homemade tasting ice cream. The dairy free options are wonderful. They even have sugar free options too. It’s great to have those options.

VBC is the perfect place to get an ice cream treat after a summer stroll in the downtown riverfront area. Generous portions, fair prices, and a delectable selection of flavors. You can grab a chilled treat and keep strolling, or take a load off by enjoying your ice cream in their charming indoor seating area. An easy 5 star rating!

Delicious ice cream. Very cute shop

Ice cream tasted like it was off brand & something I could’ve gotten at the store. Cookie was hard and disgusting. Not worth the money.

We shared a double scoop cup (butter pecan & oatmeal creme pie). It was such a generous double scoop. Shared between 3 was the perfect amount. Oatmeal Creme Pie was our favorite. Excited to go back and try the other flavors. Friendly staff and line moved quickly. Very efficient.

Street parking out front and a public lot across the street.

Booth seating, counter seating, and public benches out front.

Two words. Taco Tuesday! Get two scoops in a waffle taco with toppings for a special price. Their homemade ice cream is amazing. They change flavors so ask for tastes to find your new favorite.

Went in right as they opened today for a treat for my grandmother and I. She loves ice cream so she was so excited.. We love coming here, but I must say nothing makes an experience better then to at the least get greeted with a hello? How are you? Can I help you with any suggestions? Not one word was spoken to us except for when my grandmother asked for an ice water and was told “I got water but no ice”. It may not seem like a big deal to most, but to me it was disappointing.
