“We are visiting family in Evansville and decided to have breakfast at The Diner by Mel’s. We love to patronize restaurants that are not part of big national chains, and this restaurant is cute and friendly. I asked for the vegetarian omelette to be made with egg whites which they did, and it was very good. We both liked our meals, and we were impressed by the very friendly and welcoming staff. We will definitely be back during our visit, and if we lived in Evansville , it would be one of our regular places.“

Mrs.Carol, what a gem! 27 years of not just experience but a true inspiration of true love of her job of “Taking care of her people” as she says it, and truly went out of her way to get what we wanted. The food was excellent but awesome service makes everything taste better! Will go back for sure.“
