“We live in Columbus Indiana and go to the local Culvers a few times a month but we were in Evansville Saturday night and as we were heading back to Columbus we hadn't eaten so we drove through this Culvers. Everything was pretty decent except there was an abundance of salt on my onion rings. Who puts salt on onion rings??? I had to scrape it off just to eat them. Is it just me or has fast food service gone in the toilet the last few years?“

“I eat at Diamonds once a week, sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for dinner. No matter what I get, it’s always amazingly delicious and well above what you’d expect from a “diner”. Don’t let the word “diner” fool you with this place, because it is high quality food that always presents very well, not to mention… the portions are large as well with most things coming with 2 sides and priced very affordably. The menu is very extensive and has options for any type of craving you might have! Highly recommend!!!“

“i had Breea as a server and she did great! she communicated with us about waits and always made sure we had what we needed, my drink was never empty and she even brought a bag with her when we asked for boxes! i definitely recommend her when coming to eat here. “It’s a great place to eat .. I will say I was unhappy with service.. I booked the event room .. explain Arrival time was 815-830.. so when guest started to arrive at exactly 815 the room was not ready at all .. every table was filled with dishes. I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.“

“Heavenly Ham almost got me in the dog house with my step mother. She served ham at a family meal as she does each year on specific occasions. Not knowing in advance I let her know that, “Whatever you did to the ham this time was amazing. This is the best ham you have ever served us.” Only to have her tell me she was short on time and ordered the ham from Heavenly Ham. The ham was a winner, me, not so much!“

“The rib eye steak sandwich was delicious today. Huge slab of steak for a sandwich. Tender is an understatement. Each bite was super tender .
I've been going there for years at the food is never disappointing. The chef is in the open kitchen right behind the bar making homemade french fries and homemade soups. You'll never go wrong grabbing a bite to eat at sportsman's grill on Franklin.

“Food was great... Shrimp Alfredo nice and saucy, steak cooked right at medium well, shrimp and tenders obviously hand breaded and crispy. Server was a bit awkward socially, but kind and informative. Only downfall is this restaurant needs cleaned badly... the table top was sticky, the floors were filthy, and the restroom, well, you get the idea. Other than that, a very solid experience.“

“I have taken my family to eat here 3 times since they opened. Not once has anyone been unhappy with what was ordered. Food is always amazing. Service is top notch. The servers checked back frequently for taking empty plates, filling drinks, and checking on how the food tastes. They have, in my opinion, THE best smoked Old Fashioned I have ever had. Atmosphere is nice, everything is very open. Even when things appear busy I've never had to wait very long for a table. Highly recommend.“

“I happen to meet Ed, and Sara. The first time my wife and I were looking for lunch. I was a firm believer that Turonis was the best pizza around. With Steve's Una in second place. Ed informed me I have to try their pizza, and I was at the right place. Keep in mind I was 1.60 short as well. Sara said it wasn't a problem I assured her if it was as good as Ed said she will be getting the 1.60 back soon enough. When I tell you they are great people and a awesome couple. I mean it when I say they don't come no better. I took a first bite and I couldn't stop eating the pizza. Slice after slice I thought it wasn't possible. The pizza took over the number one spot, and it wasn't even a close call. The environment is family friendly. Like I said earlier the people don't get no better. If I could give more stars I would. Sara went above and beyond for me, and I have to admit Ed you were right. I was at the right place. You will think I'm family as much as you'll see me. Awesome Food, Awesome People, and Awesome Environment... No better place in the tri-state area.“

The menu has plenty of great options, but the steak sandwich is the star. Steak sandwiches are a staple around this area, and this is hands down the best one I've ever had. I also highly recommend the smoked pork chop and the smoked or fried chicken. If you're anywhere nearby, this place is definitely worth a visit.“
