“Rarely do I take the time to “recommend” a restaurant, but my wonderful experience this past Saturday deserved the recognition. Samuel’s is one of my fiancé’s favorite places to dine and for some reason I hadn’t been. Now that I’ve been, we will be making this a regular spot. For appetizers we ordered the truffle fries and the brussel sprouts. They were both cooked to perfection and exploding with flavor. If you liked those items at CKB when it was open, then you’ll love these. For entrees we had the steak and hot chicken sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The menu prices are extremely reasonable. In fact, I think the prices are a tad low given the high quality of the product. If you haven’t checked out this gem, you’re missing out.“
“Food was amazing! My fiancé had the chicken tender skillet and I had the chicken tenders. My tenders were hand breaded and cooked perfectly. They were juicy and tender. His grits were perfect. The service was outstanding. Definitely will be back!!“

“Stopped in for breakfast on the spur of the moment at Merry Go Round yesterday and found this to be a very nice establishment! Got the Breakfast Special which was eggs cooked any way you want, a choice of bacon or sausage, any bread you choose, plus a glass of OJ, all for under $7. They had plenty more early morning choices as well. Service was excellent and friendly, bathroom was spotless, and food arrived quickly. Nothing but nice things to say about this place!“
“Traveled from Michigan to see Anthony Gomes, who put on a stellar performance. Mojo's bar was pretty good. The appetizers were good, the waitress for our section and service she provided was fantastic: our drinks never hit empty before they were refilled all night. The highlight was the venue. A nice little intimate room with great acoustics and a good sound. 2 notes: if you've never been to Mojo's be aware the venue is in a separate room- nobody told us this and had it not been for the herd of people by what I thought was the back door and hearing pre-gig music, I would have missed the show, and also, you are not allowed to take pictures or video during the performance ( their policy), so if you are expecting to do it- don't.“
“I cannot tell you how wonderful the customer service is at the Evansville, IN Honey Baked Ham store! We ordered a ham to be delivered to a friend from the corporate store and found out today, 3 days before Christmas, that the delivery would not happened until the 27th!! I made a desperate call from South Carolina to see if the local store could help in any way and you would not believe how wonderful everyone was! They were most certainly dealing with lines of customers on this day and yet, my problem became their problem as they searched for ways to save the day. When we realised there were no delivery options that would work before Christmas, Eric, the store manager, offered to make the delivery himself! This is really unbelievable - he didn't know us at all, but he most certainly thought we would not be a repeat customer because we are not from the area, and yet he cared enough to personally take care of us. I think his actions speak volumes.“
“For our girlfriend breakfast out, we chose Comfort. I've not been there for quite awhile but remember liking their breakfast. We got there just as it opened at 9 am. I ordered the Veggie Skillet with German fries. The skillet also includes biscuits and gravy. I passed on the gravy. The portions are ample and seasoned perfectly. Our server was attentive, the place was clean, and the meals arrived quickly. We'll go back there again for sure.“
“We had a late lunch their today with our family. The restaurant was minimally crowded and in an old general store type building. The service was good and the food was excellent. We started out with their humongous pretzel and dipping sauce. Yum yum. We also tried the loaded potato skins and doing them equally tasteful. For our main dish we split the sampler platter. You can seemed from several entrees and this was an excellent choice to experience quiet a variety of food and sides.“
“Had dinner with my family on a Monday night. Not very busy and service was great. We split the chichen fried chicken and beef roast with lots of sides. All was very good! I recommend the strawberry butter with the rolls.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals avalible.“
“My wife had the fish....not much flavor in the batter, and it needed to have the grease drained off of it better.I had the chicken fingers. Sometimes, they are served to greasy as well, but this time, they were better. Rafferty's has the best saw for dipping chicken fingers (combination of honey mustard and BBQ sauce)My wife did not get the side salad added to her meal this time, but if you do get a side salad be sure to try their hot bacon and honey mustard dressing as it is out of this world!Rafferty's has always been more on the expensive side, so keep this in mind.Parking: Parking is limited (for the size of the place) at the restaurant itself, but there is parking in the adjacent outlet store lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp.“
“I was advised to go to this restaurant for the shellfish and grit and I was not disappointed. Everything exceeded the expectations. The shellfish and grit paired with the Chardonnay were very delicious. We couldn’t resist the bourbon cheesecake either and caramel topping made it a perfect topping for our nice dinner.The hosting lady was so kind and attentive that we felt pampered by the service.And the fact that the check comes with a different book each time is a special treat for book lovers like myself.“
“My husband & I went to Lyles earlier Today for the first time. Shannon was our bartender/server & she took excellent care of us! Started out by introducing herself & told us the specials & recommendations. We opted for the Cheesy shrimp poppers as our appetizer & split a whole loaded Stromboli. Wow! Everything was hot, fresh & delicious! The lady from the kitchen (sorry I didn’t get her name) knew we were splitting the strom & brought it out to us on separate plates. “We enjoyed a birthday celebration for a party of 12, staff was very friendly and accommodating from the hostesses upon our arrival, to our amazing server Rosa, and the manager, Jonathan, who visited our table. Rosa was quick and efficient, got our drinks out quickly and kept them full. She took our orders quickly, too. Our food was excellent, and brought to our table hot. It was a great experience, especially for a large party during the busiest time of day! Thank you!“
“My family and I took my husband out for his birthday, there were 9 of us. Mariah was our server, she was the best! She was fairly busy due to it being the first Friday of Lint, she kept us informed, kept our drinks full, always checked on us. Her personality was great and she even bought my husband a beer for his birthday herself. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back hoping to see Mariah again. I am a bartender myself and she highly impressed me! You're lucky to have such a great server!“
“I’ve lived in southern Indiana and never stopped here. Live 30 minutes away, been by, but never stopped. I popped in here on a Tuesday for lunch. To my pleasure, fried chicken was the special! “It’s a great place to eat .. I will say I was unhappy with service.. I booked the event room .. explain Arrival time was 815-830.. so when guest started to arrive at exactly 815 the room was not ready at all .. every table was filled with dishes. I had approx 20 people five or take I told them on the phone that morning.. they finally got 2 sets of 2 tables that comfortably was set up in the main dining room as 4 to table they crammed 10 chairs to these tables.. when I asked for another set of tables to be cleaned our server wouldn’t speak to me but rolled her eyes so I went to talk to someone else.. when they approached her with me she told me that she was my server. And she still has not started cleaning tables instead she told me there were 20 chairs total at those tables.. I had to get upset and told her we were crammed and everyone unhappy and told her I wanted 2 more tables cleaned.. PLEASE!!! Finally she did with an attitude and goin so slow like it killed her.. she was prob 25yr old .. then she sat out on her phone and I had to get up and get her if we needed drinks or anything. It would been a great night if had a good server.“

“We love the food here. My husband and I have gone a few times but decided to take our children this time. We felt that having our children there was frowned upon by the staff. If you are like us and want to show your children different food styles and creativity, it is better to skip this place, unfortunately. We had reservations and they sat us outside IN THE RAIN! Two tables inside that could have been cleaned off easily but wasn’t! Very disappointed.“

“We live in Columbus Indiana and go to the local Culvers a few times a month but we were in Evansville Saturday night and as we were heading back to Columbus we hadn't eaten so we drove through this Culvers. Everything was pretty decent except there was an abundance of salt on my onion rings. Who puts salt on onion rings??? I had to scrape it off just to eat them. Is it just me or has fast food service gone in the toilet the last few years?“
“The folks here at Burger Bank are great. Always a "thank you, have a nice day". Don't expect many healthy options but if some fried comfort food and a milkshake is your game, then this is the spot. The shrimp basket is enough for two lunches (or one dinner if you're a big fella like me) forewarning the coleslaw does leave a little to be desired even if sweet and creamy is tour preference.“
“I didn't fully experience Buds until the eighth time I visited. It's truly a hidden gem, especially the Bud's Buffet on the far east side of the establishment. Though the food at the Bud's Buffet is already eaten off of and cold, it's still pretty good!! Bud's is a great place to take your tigers and tigresses out for a fun night!“
“We were in Evansville for a show and stopped to eat here. The food was amazing and the menu provided lots of options to choose from to suit our family of 5’s needs. The meal portions were very good size as well and our son loved his Mickey pancakes and our daughter’s pancakes were beautiful. “Ate at Frankie’s yesterday for lunch for the first time. I had the grilled chicken wrap and sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was served fresh and delicious. The dip for the sweet potato fries was amazing! The restaurant is very clean and the wait staff attentive. My only problem was trying to decide what to eat, everything sounded amazing!
