“Oh my! I'll be back to take foodie photos! The mushroom gluten free pizza is fabulous. My colleague who can have gluten had delicious bowl. I really enjoyed my hot tea, and the gluten free macarons are great! I was impressed by the bakery service. The first service rep was fine, and somewhat helpful about gluten free. I understand asking if it's an allergy or choice for cooking purposes. Most people who find it necessary don't love announcing the why. I'm necessary. The only negative was the young man delivering food and such. He was brusque. I asked for a box ahead of time knowing we would have to leave for work. My colleague and I were shocked when he sort of tossed it curtly at me. Not polite. I observed similar behavior again. Let's remember customers notice all manners.“
“I have known the brothers that run this small locally owned pizza shop since I managed a little Caesar’s store and they worked at pizza den. I found them by accident as I was a Una Tu loyal until my sister suggested Covert Una Pizza because it was around the corner from her house. I have been going there for years now. Have been out of Evansville for 11 years and make a yearly trek up home for Labor Day and my birthday. The pizza is still as good as it was when I first tasted it and Mike and his brother, whom I never remember his name always treat me like a king! Highly recommend Covert Una Pizza a true Evansville classic!“
“Amazing food, best Alfredo sauce I've ever had! (Sorry mammaw lol) It all tasted fresh and homemade, even the noodles. I had spaghetti and meatballs. Was a little disappointed about the meatballs because you only get two, but they're the size of the palm of my hand. So if you like the spices that were in them they'd be good. I didn't care for all the spices in the meatball myself though. And another downfall was their special sauce, which included basil, pesto, and olive oil. I didn't care for it that much. But I don't like pesto either, so don't take my word for if you'll like it or not. I didn't have room in my stomach to finish all of the bowl, so I'll be having the leftover noodles for lunch tomorrow! The bread was fresh and soft and they had options for pizza and other food options as well. As well as a special. The service was really good, she'd replace my drink without me even noticing and they'd come check up on us when we paused from eating too much to make sure everything was okay. It was cold where we were setting though, I'm going to blame that on the air vent and windows. But seriously, this is the best Italian place EVER!Kid-friendliness: There was a kids menu with a variety of options for the kids to choose from. All of which sounded appealing.“
“Seriously love this place. Pizza is awesome! I grew up in Chicago and Steve's is just as good as some of my favorites up there. And for half the price. Large pizzas in Chicago are upwards of $40-50 these days. (Crazy!) One of the other reviews I read was talking about a true deep dish.. I'd love to see that. No one in Evansville makes one! However, ask any local in Chicago and they will tell you only tourists order the deep dish, lol. I, on the other hand, will not discriminate. I will gladly eat a well made deep dish pizza ?. Keep up the good work Steve's!“
“The slice is one of a kind, it’s not your typical pizza restaurant that you’re going walk up to, it is very unique. It’s a staple here in Evansville. The pizza is phenomenal. This is a hole in the wall pizza place that you will not regret going out of your way to find or even making it your weekly lunch spot.“
“Food was great. My first time trying it was excellent eggs made the way I like it would rather them scrambled than fried but ultimately was very good. Ordered the bacon egg and cheese on a bun sandwich could have been bigger for the price. Out of orange juice at 10am but again very good orange juice so I can see why. Pancakes very fluffy and love the price just wish got more bacon“
“Deerhead is a great place for an adult night or family night. The semi outdoor patio seating is great on a fall night. The Greek salad with pizza bread is our favorite. And the double decker is so filling. Everyone at Deerhead is kind and fun. We always have great service.“
“Pip’s has daily specials, and we happened to be there on $7 burger and fries day. Choice of several bodacious burgers (I had one with bbq pulled pork, bacon, and onion straws) and a generous helping of seasoned fries. One of the best burgers I’ve had. Staff were friendly, professional, and gave fantastic service. My iced tea was never empty. My next visit is going to be catfish day or maybe Sunday for the mimosas!“
“Great place to eat, Good atmosphere and customer service is really friendly, nice and Absolutely relaxed. The pizza is Really Great and ready to receive hot and Fresh and Definitely affordable. 3 days ago was my first time going to this location and it's My New Pizza Home.“
“Always a great experiencePizzas are always consistentEmployees strive to make you happyStore is always clean and organizedVegetarian options: All the veggies are fresh and they have a great selectionCauliflower & low carb are tasty!“
“Our first time here. If you're wanting a quiet place, this isn't it, but now we know and not putting it down for that, we just usually prefer quieter places to eat. That being said, we will definitely be back. Like I said, it was our first time here and have bee. Wanting to try it out for some time, so we made this our Valentine's dinner. So happy we did. Our server was awesome and the food was incredibly delicious! Everything else was great and now that we know what to expect, we'll be back, just not when we want a quieter atmosphere. We did love most of the music, especially when we noticed that it wasn't just the music, but also the music videos. I hate going anywhere that is all sports and/or news. We enjoyed this place very much!“
“Wow. Hits the marks.Bread/crust -greatSauce- greatToppings -fineHits hard in the seasonings and flavor! No complaints. We had breadsticks and sauce. I immediately knew the pizza was gonna be good based off the flavors of this seasoned bread with dipping sauce.Went with a half cupperoni/ half pistachio.. normally preferably pepperoni but that pistachio amped up the flavor so u just can't lose with either.“
“If you’re looking for a small place to enjoy good food, great service, & laughs this place is for you! My boyfriend & I went on a late Friday night & each ordered a pizza, a few beers, & played cards. It was a very laid back & welcoming atmosphere! We both LOVED our pizzas & are super excited to come back again!“
“Great place to get pizza on the north side of town. Also has great strombolis!Parking: There is only a couple spots right at the front of the building, but it's usually no problem to fit two cars there if you park conscientiously. There is additional overflow parking in the gravel lot nearby.Kid-friendliness: It's not exactly a eat-in establishment. They have a few tables in the area where you pick up your food but I don't think I've ever seen anybody actually dining in.“
“My husband and I are HUGE fans of Azzip, always have been, always will be! There is nothing on the menu I don't like. The selection is awesome, and you get plenty of veggies on every pizza if you so chose. Service on the West side is fire. The crew works hard, fast and friendly!!“
“The cheese bread an dipping sauces are delicious! But move on to the parmesean baked artichoke hearts an it makes it difficult to save room for the house special pizza. So we also took a all meat to go.We drove over a hour an it was well worth the drive. The owner Mike Wathen was courteous an polite to meet. We will return!“
“The restaurant makes a good impression from the outside and there are more than enough parking spaces available. The ambience inside looks consistent with the rest of the restaurant. However, the seating and especially the benches could be a little better padded. The food itself is good. The pizza was nice and crispy and the dough was nice and thin as described in the menu. The starter wasn't really my thing, but I think it's a matter of taste, which is why I don't rate it negatively.“
“Yolanda is such a sweetheart! She was making sure we were enjoying our food and that we had plenty of bread sticks. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with smiles and compliments. It’s always a great time and I’ve never had a bad experience here! Give this lady a raise!!!“
“I wanted everyone to know, I’ve visited this establishment on a couple of occasions and I was very impressed on how the staff treated me because I had to have a gluten free pizza, how they took the time out to make sure that the counter was wiped off and there was no cross contamination of any kind. Long story short, if you love pizza and you have an allergy issue, I highly recommend Azzip Pizza. (all locations)“
“The pizza is good with a lot of different specialties and toppings to choose from. Crust is thin with a bit of a cracker texture so has a light snap with each bite. Menu has plenty of appetizers as well. Staff is really friendly, and even when it gets busy the wait isn't too long. They have take-out, plenty of parking, and is a great place for larger parties.“
“The thin crust pizzas are amazing, but the best one is the 8" zero-carb crust that's made from chicken. It's absolutely delicious, and you won't notice the difference. It's a great, laid-back place to take the family and enjoy a fun meal with excellent servers. Don't want to dine in? That's fine. Order ahead and pick up through carry out.“
“We were turned away from another local restaurant for a game watch. Sports Den was nearby so we gave it a shot. They were so accommodating for our large group! Carla was the only server for the whole building but she rocked it out! The food was delicious, especially the Stromboli. Best I’ve had! Would definitely consider them again!“
“I LOVE this place. I'm a regular and have come to enjoy my visits to the Evansville Mod. I've never had a poor experience and the quality is always top tier. I get the same thing every time and the flavor and quality are always consistent. I appreciate how clean they keep the store as well. This is a great place to take the family so everyone can get exactly what they want.“
“We didn't eat during our visit, but we did play games, etc. Love buying game play by time instead of by the credit. We can go in there, pay for 45 minutes and just burn that up playing unlimited games during that time. Only downside is you don't win many tickets on the games so it takes ages to earn enough tickets to get anything that isn't just trash. But that's how they get you. Pretty smart business plan honestly.Unlike other arcades, all the games were working which was nice. The place was fairly clean and the staff was friendly. Love the stamp check upon entering and leaving as well. It's extra piece of mind. We'll be back.“
“I’ve lived in southern Indiana and never stopped here. Live 30 minutes away, been by, but never stopped. I popped in here on a Tuesday for lunch. To my pleasure, fried chicken was the special! Some of the best I’ve had in the area and it came out lightning fast ⚡️ I’ll be back to try some other menu items. Friendly place ??“
“We were visiting from Las Vegas for my sons graduation. Looking for a good pizza place after the ceremony. We got there almost at closing. The owner invited us in and told us he'd take care of us. They all were so nice. I ordered a BBQ Stromboli. IT was so good!!! All the food was excellent! Service was excellent!! Made us feel so welcome!! I'll be back for sure!!“
“Doc's is Evansville's "best damn sports bar" as they like to say. Great food, better service, and just about any game you could hope to watch across a wide variety of sports is available. This is one of my favorite stops before or after local sports games! VERY reasonable prices as well - and some of the specials make you wonder how they can do it! I'm coming back often!“
“When you arrive at the wheelchair accessible front door (and decline ramp) don't be put off by the size of Rounders Too...it is a smaller but AMAZING place of great friends, food and community!Food: 5 of 5. Whether you are getting the mind-blowing cheesy bread (highly suggest getting the cheese sauce, mild cheddar and not too spicy), the VERY reasonably priced drinks or a pizza...you will leave happy (and so will your bank account!).I love their Buffalo Cheese pizza, the cheesy bread, the stromboli, insert anything on their menu! Comes out fresh and hot EVERY time! Good seasonings, portion sizes are good, and drinks are great!Atmosphere: 5 of 5. Im honored to go in most evenings and see my neighbors and people we love in community with. TVs have games going on multiple channels. There are bar height chairs and tables in the back area to seat about 22-24. In the main dining room, space for another 20-22, regular chair height.Bathrooms are exceptionally clean.Service: main bartender/waitress that we usually have is fast, attentive and knows her business. She is professional and personable. Her drinks are on par and she makes sure you beverage is filled. If they are busy (when are they not and for great reason!), be patient. They have limited staff but they work their butts off. Great locally owned business! The only thing you may have to wait a couple minutes for is a seat.Thank you for being a great business! My wife and I love eating here on Friday/Saturday evening around 5-6.“
“This bar is always a great place to go to. Friendly staff (except the day bartender), and the owners are exceptional! Teri is a real gem and is very active in the community. Be sure to try the pizza! It's the best in town!!!Dietary restrictions: Fried foodParking: Small, cramped parking lot“
“You know I have been going here a lot and I've never seen one Corleone working in the back making some pizza. I'm not a fan of false advertisements but they make up for it with good pizzas that are a go to for me as I work in construction.“
“Love that this place opened up in the neighborhood! The food and service were fantastic both times that we've visited. Excited to see it grow and can't wait to continue to go here and enjoy the fantastic food.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options available.“
“Shannon was awesome so very kind. It was so nice to see what I consider a true bartender waitress she had an awesome personality you don't find that in all the restaurants anymore. That's why we stopped in today we haven't been in in over a year. And we will definitely be back“
“I have a lot of dietary restrictions. This restaurant has one of the best selections for pizza for customers with dietary restrictions. Their cauliflower crust is crispy and probably the second best cauliflower crust I have ever eaten over the last 8 years. The Queen Margarita on the cauliflower crust was excellent!“
“If you have been to New York and had the pizza, you know there is something about it that goes beyond words. They capture it this style very well at Lombardi's better than anywhere in this region that I have tasted. And fresh filled Cannoli just like New York.“
“I have been eating lunch at this Noble Roman's location every month for 35 years or so. The meal deal I purchase is a personal pan pepperoni pizza, 3 breadsticks with cheese sauce, and a small soft drink. The combo price recently increased to $9.17, which is reasonable for 2023's economy. The employees always make me smile. They take pride in their food, and every personal pizza tastes fresh and delicious. There are small coin-operated rides nearby for children. There is plentiful parking and seating since Noble Roman's is located in Washington Square Mall.Wheelchair accessibility: You can press a button on the building to hold the door open as you enter in a wheelchair. There is plenty of space inside of the building for wheelchairs or crutches being used.“
“I've always loved Sam's but now I LOVE their food even more! We ordered two pizzas, Kitchen Sink & BYO - Pepperoni, along with our reward of Garlic Cheese Bread (we turned in a painted rock they hid around the community to get some free grub!) and let me say that was the BEST cheesy bread with the marinara sauce I've had! ?The pizzas had so much flavor packed into the little thin sliced pieces. My spouse can be a picky eater when ordering out (he cooks alot of his own food) so for him to say it was "very good pizza and really cheesy good garlic cheese bread" says alot! Thanks for a pizzalicious filling dinner. Will be back soon for more☺️“
“Called to get a pizza no one answered so I thought they where closed seconds later the very nice lady called me back now that's service. The pizza was the best Una pizza I have had excellent and plenty of toppings.Thank you for a great experience.“
