“Food is yummy yummy! Service was great!!!! I’m a longtime customer and a restaurant owner. And I love this place. The only thing I’d recommend is to stop letting the staff kick garbage under the shelves in the kitchen. As a customer watching that, it makes me think the restaurant is dirty and I’ve seen it done many times here over the years, because many bar seats have a clear view into the kitchen. I can’t tell you how many loud conversations we have overheard from the kitchen and how much trash I’ve seen kicked under the shelves. It takes two seconds to pick up the trash and disposed of it properly, so that your customers will think you are a clean, sanitary restaurant if we see that. I’m sure you are clean, but that’s a bad look.“

“My husband decided to take us here for my birthday dinner, and wow, we had such a great experience! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and I’ll always give credit where credit is due. The only downside was that the fire alarms continued to go off throughout dinner, which was definitely distracting, but completely out of the staff’s control,and thankfully, there was no fire! 😂 Overall, we had a wonderful birthday dinner and were really impressed with both the food and the service.“

“Although the cook didn't show up last night, the workers there strived to do their best. Our food was delicious & the waiter was phenomenal~so sweet & apologized for the delay. To those complaining in other reviews about the old look of the place, it's what gives it charm....hence it being the Old Mill that's been serving travelers & diners for decades. If you want modern look & feel, go to a modern place. Thanks again to the sweet waiter!“

“For the middle of the afternoon, I got hot fresh, good food. Customers were coming in steadily. I had to wait a few minutes but no problem. This is the second time I stopped here for a late lunch takeout on my way home from a regular appt in Eville. Owensboro doesn't have Captain Ds anymore - so, this is a positive treat. Thank You'All“

“I came with a ladies group on Friday this last week. The food was great and I noticed right away how the manager Everett was keeping calm even in a rush. He made sure our order was right. Later when my Mom thought she threw away an expensive item he supplied me with gloves and even came out to help Me go through the trash! Never have I had such care from a fast food place. I’ll be back!!“
