“There are many reasons to love Captain D's, freshly made food, great service, friendly atmosphere, online and phone ordering available. This is not a fast food restaurant as many people think, they don't pre-cook the food and place it in a warmer NO! It is cooked fresh as soon as you order it. It may take a little longer but at least you KNOW its fresh. If you're in a hurry then either order online or call, that's what I do. I call, place my order, and let them know whether I'm coming in or going through the drive through to pick it up. They have a new manager I got to meet today and Sarah is an AWESOME lady, so polite, courteous, always smiling just a wonderful asset to the restaurant in Madisonville. To me you can't beat their food, my cold stuff is cold and my hot food is hot omg my Giant Fish sandwiches I usually get are pure heaven. “We dine at Oasis in Madisonville at 10+ times a year. This past week we met our daughter there for lunch. She has a gluten allergy, no bread. The waitress put that on order. When the plate came out it had a roll on the plate and we sent it back and asked the burger be replaced. A lady brought the same food on a different plate and said that the bread never touched the burger. I’m guessing that she was not aware of what happens when people have a Gluten have a reaction. If you have allergies just be careful if you dine here. If you don’t have allergies the food and service is good.“
