“Heard alot about this place so my wife and I and a friend decided to go and see how it was and believe me when I say it's what we had heard EXCELLENT SERVICE THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND FRESH ( my wife and I had the buffet ) the staff was very FRIENDLY AND COURTIOUS and they was probably wondering why I was taking pictures because I wanted to share with everyone that reads this to see what they are in store for if they get a chance to get to visit here and unfortunately we didn't get to try the salad bar or the desserts other then a small bowl of banana pudding but it was very delicious but we will next time though and YES WE WILL BE BACK THERE TO ENJOY ANOTHER MEAL OR 12 ðŸ˜ðŸ˜Ž“
“Jay's it a small hole in the wall type diner that makes you think of a diner from your favorite classic TV show. One that always has the best food and great service. All the food is cooked to order so it is always hot, fresh and delicious! They have a great selection of items, both main items and sides. The burgers are great, and the kids love the chicken nuggets.If you feel like eating outdoors, there's a small pavilion right down the road that overlooks the river and has a playground beside it. It is unrelated to Jay's itself but is a great place to eat and let the kids play.“
“What do you get when Applebee's and Cracker Barrel collide? You get Windy Hollow Restaurant. At least as far as the decor is concerned; the food is in a league all of it's own. This is country cooking at it's finest. The baked apples had the perfect balance of cinnamon and sugar and quite literally melted in my mouth. The sausage patties were fork tender and flavorful. I've eaten breakfast in a lot of places and have never had sausage like this! And then there were the chicken tenders. I'm not normally a fan because of heavy breading and little chicken, but these were the opposite of what I thought they were going to be. These tenders were lightly breaded large pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Last, but not least, there was the coffee. This coffee was so good that it didn't need anything added to it to make it drinkable. I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was, and how they kept the buffet tables clean and well stocked. The only downside is that the place is on the smaller side, and very popular, so it can be a bit crowded. Don't let that be a deterrent, though. The food is worth it!“
“Pleasant dining experience.We were in town for a funeral, and didn't have much time to spare. Waitress was a delight to talk to.Ordered a biscuit. Coffee was fresh . Cousin had sausage and biscuit. It was delicious. Homemade from scratch.Food was fast and coffee was fresh. Would dine there again if we lived closer.Excellent diner“
