“I moved to Southern Kentucky from northern Illinois two years ago and the Chicago area and suburbs are well known for its local diners and carry outs. A sandwich that all of them have on the menu is a Philly Cheese Steak and most of them are quite good. I was very surprised and impressed with the Philly Cheese at Slappyz. By far the best I've had since moving here. The fries and onion rings are amazing, too. After my initial visit today, I'm looking forward to more visits in the future! The service with a smile was an added bonus, too!“
“Buffet food was good, so was rhe omelet. Service was a bit slow but they were making several trips around. Nice simple country diner. Yes I'll go backParking: Parking is a bit limited and I would imagine during peak time, it would be impossible to find a spot.“
“The employees provided great customer service and made us feel welcome. We were greeted when we walked in, which is very important to me. The food was really good too, I could tell they change the grease often. One time we ate inside and it was comfortable, not hot. The interior appeared to need some remodeling/improvements, although it wasn't horrible, however that's above the ones working there.“
“Definitely a comfort food, home cooking place. I had the club wrap with shoe string fries. My husband had city ham, eggs, and pancakes. The pancakes were very large and he declared them "glorious". Staff was very kind and service was good. Pricing was acceptable. Women's restroom had pink walls with iridescent glitter, a fun touch.Vegetarian options: Offers salads and baked potatoesDietary restrictions: Staff will accommodate any restrictions they are able to.Parking: Large free lot in a strip mallKid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menu providedWheelchair accessibility: Entrance is wheelchair accessible“
