He was a nice young man who was polite, attentive, asked if we need more drinks or anything, anytime he passed by. this young man's actions and service made my morning a good one. “First, set your expectations. This is a local bar where you can hangout with friendly folks and pay reasonable prices. It's a smoking bar with pool and darts and reminiscent of lower Broadway circa the 1990s.Next, enjoy yourself and have a great conversation with the incredibly friendly people, or just play pool for free and watch football on a Sunday afternoon.

“Huh? Five stars for a fast food restaurant? Here's the deal. We went on a Sunday (which is now Seniors Menu Specials, along with Wednesdays and Saturdays), and we were met with a big bright genuine smile behind the counter. It turns out her husband was cooking. They were busy, but she remained calm, engaging, kind and efficient throughout our stay. There was an older woman customer who struggled with walking, and the owner (behind the counter again) was patient and kind. She sets a great standard for being empathetic and reassuring to those who struggle. If you like LJS's food, and you're in the area, Please support them. They're truly deserving.“

“I had a great experience here. The portions are generous. The 2-egg omelet looked more like a 3-egg omelet and it had a good mix of my chosen ingredients. Everyone was friendly from the staff to other customers. It felt very comfortable and I was treated like a “regular” even though it was my first visit! I will be back and I highly recommend this place.“
