“service is great, food is great!“

“I saw a review of the Smokin Pig, specifically the tomahawk steak, last week sometime and immediately thought “we must go!” So we called a couple days ago to make a reservation as the other review stated you needed to in order to get the tomahawk, and went tonight. It was *amazing.* And massive. I don’t think the two of us even ate half of it, and it comes with four sides as it’s intended to be shared between two people. We got a baked potato, fries, and we each got broccoli, and they were all very good as well, but the star was clearly the steak. I don’t know exactly how it’s prepared, but it was definitely smoked at some point and had a wonderful flavor and basically melted in your mouth. We got it rare, as we eat all steaks, and we both kept a running commentary on how delicious it was as we continued to eat far past the full point.

The chef came out right after the food was delivered, and I hadn’t even cut a piece off yet though my boyfriend had taken exactly one bite. He said he’d come back to check in as he likes to talk to everyone who gets it, but he didn’t before we left. I want him specifically to know how much we enjoyed it and everyone we sent photos to were drooling and asking about it. Please let him know we were seriously impressed!

Our next like 6 weekends are full but we’re already talking about getting a group together to come back mid to late October.“

“I highly recommend stopping here-- especially if you are traveling with kids. The food was very good. The chicken strips may be the best I've ever had. I rated this 4 stars for food only because my husband said the pulled pork sandwich was a little dry, but everything else our family had was excellent! The decor is super fun and very well done in the "Western Saloon" theme. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean, and the service was excellent.

If you have the time, there is also a mini golf course on site, as well as a laser shooting range. We didn't do the shooting range this time so I don't know the cost for that, but the mini golf was reasonably priced, IMO, at $10/ person for 18 holes (you can also opt to only do 9 holes, or all 27 holes of mini golf).

Kid-friendliness: In addition to the restaurant having kid-friendly menu items (grilled cheese sandwich, chicken strips, & applesauce to name a few) there is an awesome playground out front to help your little travelers get some wiggles out. The mini golf & laser shooting range are a lot of fun for families too.“

“We have gone here for our anniversary three times over the last 12 years. The service is amazing. So welcoming and the food is truly worthy of the price. This year our kiddos had to come along last minute. 12,6 and 2. They staff was very interactive with them, and the kids said it was the best chicken tenders they ever had!“
