“Visited this week after having food prepared by Fosters at a conference. The smell was so inviting! Arrived to find the prices were very reasonable. We had 2 entrees and added a few extra things. Above the presentation of the food, the customer service was top notch. Being greeted, updated on the food being prepared and even the chefs apology for the amount of time we waited (which wasn't long at all) made the experience so much more enjoyable. Needless to say we SMASHED the food and forgot to take photos but trust me, it was delicious, well seasoned, not over salted,and plated with care even as carry out. We worked with Cindy to plan the menu and she even did a site visit to make sure she understood the logistics of the day so we were not bothered on our wedding day. Food was fresh, delicious, and our guests were able to fill their plates! Service staff was outstanding as well keeping everything full and packing up the leftovers for us at the end of the night.“

“Wow. Talk about first class facilities and a really, really good golf course. The conditioning was top notch. Paired with a very helpful regular who made it more fun, but wouldn't have been hard to find my way around. The back seemed harder than the front 9 but I played way better on the back 9. Truly a private course experience at a daily fee facility.“

“I'm a Turf regular. Just finished lunch in their cavernous dining hall (ok...not so cavernous, and not really a hall). Today I had the Spicy Burma Turkey Club. Over the years I've tried literally everything on the menu...wings, pimento cheese, and all of the sandwiches. There are a few staples that are always on the menu (Peterdick, Turkey Club, Cubano), with others mixed in (including today's Spicy Burma). Everything. Is. Fantastic. Matt, the Owner/Chef, and the rest of the crew are very nice, and are clearly proud of their excellent work...as well they should be. Matt gave us some details on how they prepare the smoked turkey, which makes an appearance in a few of Turf's sandwiches. It is culinary crack. Stop by and have the best sandwich you've ever had at this local treasure.“

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“
