“DQ review for Lower Huntington Rd location
I desire ice cream everyday! Multiple times a day!! My favorite blizzard treat is the Brownie Batter Blizzard!! This location is the ONLY location in all of Fort Wayne, Bluffton and Markle, that actually makes it proper!!! I always get a large Brownie Batter Blizzard at least 4 days a week. Some days I’ve even stopped in twice for a large BBBlizzard. The large get 4 scoops or Brownie Batter with 4 scoops of the brownie bits. All the other locations I’ve stopped at do, 1-2 scoops of batter and maybe 2 scoops of brownie bits. I’ve had 2 locations complain they don’t do the 4 scoops of batter because it’s thick and makes the blizzard hard to make. Well I’m sorry, this is part of your job description and that’s what makes this blizzard what it is!! Make it right, or don’t make it at all!! This location though, they do it right all the time!!

The staff here really are great people. The friendliest face that I’ve got used to seeing on my near daily stop is Elijah. I have had several interactions with Elijah and he’s a wonderful person/employee with what I’ve seen as showing great character, a great personality, a positive attitude, great work ethic and always serves and greets with a smile. Elijah wanting to be better at his job asked me out of curiosity, what I believe is the best way to make the blizzard knowing it is a pain to make but It really is best making half/half. Take large cup fill half way with ice cream, 2 scoops of batter, 2 scoops of brownie bits and mix then add the rest of the ice cream, 2 more scoops of batter and bits and mix. Once completed, you are left with perfection that keeps me coming back day after day until the batter runs out. Sadly, I Then have to wait around for next BBBlizzard season.

This DQ location really needs to partake in employee of the month initiatives and honor Elijah with the admirable praise he deserves followed by recognition of the other great employees that make this location the best and only pick for all my DQ Cravings!!“

“Came here on the first day of spring to get FREE ICE CREAM! For those of you who don't know, you can get a FREE. yes FREE vanilla ice cream cone. Highly recommend for thair outstanding service. Great place to go for lunch, ice cream, or any food for that matter. Outstanding, and I love the small size of the Dairy Queen. It's just so cute“

Parking: Parkinglot on the Frontline & drive thru side I can't get around right now alot of people like DQ, SO I'M THINKING it's partly that reason.“

“Clean well lit place.Ice cream was good & what you expect from a DQ.Paid a tad over $14 after tax for a banana split & the largest Reeves Blizzard which i thought was high. However, it is a newer store & expensive to build.Employee was engaging/friendly when I entered.We each sat inside eating our dessert to good 20yr old music & no one else in the store the whole time there.I would go back if in the area again.“

“As the owner of a small business sometimes the whole entire family works. We had worked all day long and I wanted to reward everybody for their hard work so we stopped at this location. It was quite busy but they had us taken care of in no time everybody had a smile on their face. Very pleasant experience delicious ice cream“

“Pretty good for a DQ. There's a lot of trash behind the building which makes me wonder how much the owner cares about this franchise. I don't love that the news is on the TV either but at least the sound was off. Can we just enjoy a meal without being scared by the news? ???“

“I just stopped in this location on my way through fort Wayne and it was amazing! It was so clean and inviting, the 2 women working were so kind and the food. THE FOOD. Best burger I've had in a while from anywhere. I really loved this location and I've been to a lot of dairy queens.“

“I usually don't give 5/5 for fast food. The location was well maintained. There is so much space. They had outlets available with booth and table seating. One of the bigger dairy queens I've been in. My cheeseburger was great. I would go back“

“They serve top-notch crispy, juicy chicken tenders. Friendly staff, and if there is a wait, it’s for a good reason. Everyone’s Blizzards are made to order, so good things come to those who wait. I’ve never had an issue with long wait times however. I will definitely return!“

“Stopped in to get a blizzard on my way home from dinner. Everyone was super nice and someone got me a bag for the to-go box from another restaurant I was holding. They were super fast and checked on me while I was writing this review waiting for my ride to come pick me up.

I came in very close to closing so they were cleaning up but didn't try to rush me outside, which I appreciate because it is hot out.“
