I visited the drive-thru a few days ago, and my total came to $10.78. I paid with $20.78 in cash, so my change should have been $10. Instead, I received $9.95.
When I mentioned that the change didn't seem correct, the cashier explained that they no longer use pennies. She said she entered my payment into the register as $20.80 instead of the $20.78 I actually handed her, and then gave me the amount of change the register displayed.
