“Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff, wonderful drinks. The very first time I went there on Saturday right after we ordered our first drink the electricity went out and half of downtown Ft. Wayne. The staff brought out a bunch of candles in the atmosphere, was so beautiful and unique“

“I love this place. I’ve only been there one time (so far). Their computers were down, there was a sale for $5 cheesecakes (I got like 8🫣🤣 which btw, were DELICIOUS), there was a long line and orders coming in over the phone. Sounds like a lot right, BUT… all of the women behind the counter were smiling, they were patient, they were still happy to be there and seemed to love their jobs. I have five kids that I took with me and there is a super cute little playroom for them. The decor of the shop is SUPER cute and girly! I’d LOVE to have little play dates/ mommy meet ups here! Definitely a place to visit for any occasion or simply nothing at all ❤️“

“I came in with my friends and had Grace as my server. She was probably the best server I have had at any restaurant in a long time. I asked her questions about different menu items and she knew all the answers. I was very impressed she had so many menu items memorized. She’s like a walking PF Chang’s Menu!! I originally ordered the Apple spice refresher but then upgraded to the alcoholic version and was very surprised by how much I loved it! Another great suggestion from our waiter. She was so sweet and kind and made me feel comfortable asking questions. Anything we asked for in terms of refills, sauces, or extra napkins was delivered within 30 seconds of asking for it. I’ve been to places where it takes 30 mins to get water! We truly had a fantastic experience and a lot of it was thanks to Grace. Definitely will be back!! Give that girl a promotion!!!“

“Always the most amazing food at all of the Casa restaurants in Fort Wayne! I live closer to another, but adore the atmosphere and staff at the West Jefferson location. I took my dad there for Father's Day and we couldn't have had a better time anywhere else in town! Our waiter, Marshall, was professional, quick and attentive. The front manager is gregarious, accommodating and absolutely brings life to this particular Casa. We'll be back a thousand more times!“

“Cute place, family type atmosphere. Went there for breakfast with a group of 5, we were very happy with everything. Prices are reasonable. My friend had dropped their phone in water and the server gave us a zip lock bag full of rice to try and save the phone. Places like this are hard to come by these days. Don’t hesitate to check them out.“

“My wife and I are at the point where we don’t spend money on food easily unless it is great food and great service. As such, we don’t have a lot of places we can go. Chops wine bar is my new favorite! We came in for Savor Fort Wayne. as such, we ordered a lot more food than we normally would. We found the wine bar to be very cozy, warm, and a good volume to be able to hold a conversation easily. The food was outstanding. I had a classic old-fashioned that was the best I’ve ever had and it is at a great price on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights. We were surprised at the depth of the menu for a wine bar. We expected bar food and this was far from that. We will definitely be back, a lot!“

“We were given a table of 6 for the two of us due to their wait time being so long, and they had to put my small group there.
They had people standing nearby at stations which was fine. They were there a bit too long, and being next by our table was a bit odd. We suggest there being people who standby every once a while rather than be standing there 24/7.“

“We started with the crab cakes for appetizers and ordered the 14-oz ribeye, 6-oz filet mignon, and lobster tails for our main entrées. Our sides included broccoli, mashed potatoes, lobster bisque soup, and chili. Overall, the food was very good — the lobster bisque was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The pretzel bread with the cinnamon-flavored butter was superb, and both steaks and the lobster were cooked to perfection.

The mashed potatoes were the only real disappointment — they were lumpy and cold. Another issue was with my date’s cocktail. I ordered a sangria, which was amazing. However, his Long Island Iced Tea tasted more like a cola (Coke or Pepsi) and had no noticeable alcohol flavor. Our waitress, Ashley, was super nice and attentive, but when we mentioned the drink issue, she became somewhat defensive and explained it had three ounces of liquor. The manager never came to our table to address the concern, which was disappointing.

Despite that, the restaurant had an amazing ambiance and overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent aside from the few issues mentioned. That’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five. I would still highly recommend Backstreet Steakhouse — just maybe skip the Long Island Iced Tea and ask for your mashed potatoes hot!“

“My kids and I were in a wreck in front of the store this morning. While we were waiting, staff came out and offered food to everyone in the wreck while we waited. This was so kind of them and added a few little extras for the kids. Such a stressful time and to be greeted with such thoughtfulness was very much appreciated! Thank you so much!“
