Cortona's Italian Cuisine & Wine Bar

My husband had the salmon and said it was absolutely perfect. We also had the meatballs and they are the best meatballs we've ever had. I had the cheese wheel experience and it is so amazing and delicious!!!!! One of our favorite places to eat for sure. Because it was packed on a Saturday night it was very loud but we're thrilled to see your business doing so well. We can't wait to come back again.

Our second time there in a month. The food isn't 11! Truly was a wonderful experience and some of the best food we've ever had. Also Nina at the bar is wonderful. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our dinner last evening at Cortona's. Both of our entrees were outstanding as was the wine. The service we received from our server, Cesar, was excellent. Can't wait to return.

The food was outstanding as well as the cocktails. Our waitress was very good. We always enjoy our “trip to Italy” when we eat there.

It's pretty unassuming from the outside, but it's very cozy when you get inside. We liked our server and she was very attentive throughout the meal. The cocktails were enjoyed by all of us. I would not order the bruschetta again. I think the presentation could be greatly improved. The bread was limp and it felt very flimsy, and the toppings seemed skimpy compared to photos I've seen of this appetizer... it just looked like it was made in a hurry and we're running out of ingredients. We did like the toppings though. Everyone enjoyed their entrées immensely. We had visitors from out of country as our guests, and they said it was the best chicken Parmesan they had ever had. We also had lobster lemon ravioli, pistachio lime sauce spaghetti, and Chalene's spaghetti. The portions were large and everybody was happy.  we all said we would order those entrées again. We ordered three different desserts to share. The tiramisu is definitely not worth it at all. It was ruined by a dressing of chocolate syrup and the portion was very small. The lemon ricotta cake was tasty but on the dry side. The crème brûlée was really delicious... everybody enjoyed it, and it was a decent size. I would order the crème brûlée again.  Overall, we really enjoyed our evening and for the experience and quality of the entrées especially, the bill of $250, including 4 cocktails and tip, was reasonable for four people.

Great service. Our waitress outstanding! Friendly hostess and owner made sure everything was to our satisfaction.

This is one of our new favorites! The food was amazing. The wine we chose was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. They really make you feel at home. We will be going back!

Once again, an excellent meal in such a quaint and charming environment, this is one of our absolute most favorite restaurants, and it never disappoints!!!!

This is such a great quaint restaurant. My wife and I have been eating at Cortona for years. My favorite is the Tortellini Cortona. This time I added Italian sausage and it took it up a notch. The couple next to us had pizza and it looked really good.

The great food is a reflection of the passion that the owner of Cortona has put into every dish, ensuring patrons get a taste of authentic Italian food!

Truly authentic food worth the drive to Fortville. We probably have not had Italian food any better than this in the Indy area. Highly recommended
