“After spending seven hours in the recording studio we were tired and starving. We were greeted with wonderful staff and homemade warm chips and some of the best salsa ever. “Hostess refused to seat us because she was told they had to "leave a table open incase people are on a wait". However, no one was on a wait... just us, waiting for a table. and another table was leaving, and she refused to sit us there too because we were a party of 2. told we would have to wait 20-25 minutes, just incase that table needs to be given to someone else. Make it make sense. We won't be back.”

“Today i had the pleasure to be waited on my Paige who had a welcoming attitude along side very cute earrings, lol. She also gave my little girl an awesome birthday treat she loved. My toddler dropped his Entire Cup of lemonade on the floor and the host , Jaslyn was nothing short of awesome handling the situation. She cleaned up our area with quickness and was very reassuring. it definitely was a large mess and i was overstimulated about it honestly. i’m thankful they were super understanding. If you get a chance to go i definetly would ask for Paige to be your server if she’s available. it also was very clean inside the restroom which is comforting in the middle of potty training rn lol 10/10 moral of the story”

“Good coffee, especially enjoy the option of the nitro cold brew. The Roscoe Melt and nachos are our usuals for a tasty lunch or dinner. Usually the best selection of craft beer in the area is at Roscoe’s. The staff are friendly, helpful and seem to be having fun! Trivia nights, live music and other entertainment make this more than a coffee shop!”

“Everything about this cafe was wonderful. Tucked away in the candle store it looks unassuming but the food is phenomenal and the service is top notch. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful. It fell apart as I ate it and was cooked perfectly, even the potato chips were better than average. The cheesecake was one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. I got a drink, entire and dessert for less than $20. 10/10”

“Outstanding food and friendly service! Try the "Hot Chick" sandwich. It is excellent! Take exit #145 on I-70 West. You will bypass all the construction traffic, get a great meal and rejoin I-70 past the traffic jam. I will continue on Hwy 38 from the restaurant and take a left on Hwy 1 to hit I-70 again on the other side of the traffic jam. I found an easy spot on a side street to park my F250 towing a 28 foot RV.”

“What a great meal with great service! We ordered toasted ravioli, fettuccine afredo, and a grand sampler as a take out order. The food was delicious, hot, and ready a few minutes earlier than promised. Mike even called to let us know it was ready. Whatever issues they may have had in the past have obviously been solved. We recommend having a meal here and already look forward to our next one!”

“My daughter picked up an order for us the other night. They forgot her gluten free sandwich. Which I understand because it was late and normally they are ON IT. But I did call to let them know, and since we don’t live close enough to go back, they took my info and the manager called me. She was so nice and are sending a coupon to replace it. It’s just nice to know that they really do care, unlike other establishments!”

“Stopped by on a Friday evening with my girlfriend after eating at Firehouse BBQ. Ullery’s was pretty quiet with only a few other customers sitting down inside. However several customers came in to get ice cream cones and leave. This place (and whole area) is a hidden gem! The staff was extremely kind and explained what everything was to us. We ended up ordering sundaes not realizing how big they would be. You certainly get your moneys worth at this place! Both of our sundaes were delicious, but there was no way either of us could finish them after already having dinner. If you just want ice cream for dinner, this is the place to go! We will definitely be back!”

“I loved La Mex my entire time living in Richmond. Their authenticity and comfortable low-key dining atmosphere (not during covid) makes them a wonderful lunch/dinner stop. Their burritos are incredibly - big fan of breakfast burrito with green sauce!! Also they have a nice selection of grocery products!”

“Highly, highly recommend! My fiancee and I have started coming here for breakfast on our days off occasionally and everything we have tried has been delicious. We especially love the breakfast burritos, and as someone who doesn't eat meat I really appreciate the option to add tons of veggies as opposed to just eggs and cheese. Their sweets and baked goods are also fantastic, and we always pick out a handful of different cookies to try.”
