Iozzo's on Jefferson Reviews
Had dinner here for the first time for our 14th Anniversary. Just get here!!! The food is incredible! The garlic cheese bread was unreal fresh! The Gnocchi melts in your mouth! Staff was incredible as well. Small and a little noisy for 1 on 1 convo but just a great place for authentic, home cooked Italian food
Most recent visit was for anniversary dinner and they took extra-special care of us! Love this place. Excellent ambiance, food, service & staff💯
All of it!
My husband and I were introduced to Iozzo’s Garden of Italy on Meridian by friends in 2014. It quickly became ‘Our Place!’ Every anniversary, birthdays with kids and grands, date nights, that’s where we wanted to be! And still do. Located in Greenwood, Iozzo's on Jefferson offers a dining experience that is more than just a meal. The warm, inviting atmosphere features soft lighting and tasteful décor, creating a comfortable setting. The service stands out as fantastic, attentive, and knowledgeable. Staff are genuinely friendly and make guests feel very welcome, with one server being a treat and a manager thanking a couple for celebrating their anniversary. The food is the true highlight, easily the best Italian food. Starters include the best crab cakes that are made fresh and garlic cheese bread that is so good. Entrees like lasagna bolenaise, steak romesco, and spaghetti with Iozzo sauce are highly recommended. Other impressive dishes are the chicken piccata, chicken marsala, crab tortelli, rigatoni alla vodka, and cheese ravioli. Sides like creamy polenta are next level. For dessert, the tiramisu cheesecake does not disappoint, and handmade canolis and creme bruleu are perfect endings. Portion sizes are generous but not excessive. Drinks, including perfectly balanced dirty martinis and a recommended toast drink, are on point. This place nails it on food, service, and atmosphere, suited for a special occasion or a casual night out. It is a wonderful place to which guests will absolutely return.
