“Fantastic food! We were in from Rhode Island for the races at Kokomo Speedway. We got a tip from the waitress at breakfast and she was right on. We got the brisket and sausage. Moist and smoky. The brisket had the flavor ring and cut with a fork. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. Only two guys work here and they were both very personable. We are experts in eating BBQ and this is some of the best we ever had.”

“Only a few food items can be good enough to put a place on the map. In Kokomo those items are the breaded tenderloin and the other is Louie’s baked hamburgers. I moved to Kentucky 32 years ago and I have a standing food order for my friends and family when they come visit. You best bring an ample supply of bakes when you come. Louie’s will pack 20 of the meaty bakes into a bowl and cover them with sauce sprinkled with onion then frozen till I thaw them. The buns are still in a bag by themselves. Then of course when I do drive back I stop by for fresh bakes and fries. Look, I can produce my own breaded tenderloin that rivals the best, but as far as bakes are concerned, I’ll leave them to those that have the secret recipe. Thank you Louie’s for one of the best and unique foods on the planet.”

“They had amazing food I personally got the tenderloin Manhattan and my friend got a normal tenderloin and fries. Great place to go after working in the heat friendly environment friendly owners and service, what more could I ask for! Highly recommend if your in the Kokomo area and a quick trip from IU Kokomo to a small little gem! For my friend and I we paid only $20 and some odd cents so well worth it as the food an experience made the money we'll spent!”

“So excited to have found this Korean restaurant! The lunch specials are a great value—flavorful and well-portioned. We had the bulgogi and spicy pork, both full of bold, authentic flavors. The bibimbap was also a highlight. The banchan was fresh and truly authentic. We were also served a complimentary Sujeonggwa, a traditional Korean cinnamon and ginger tea. It had a wonderful spicy-sweet flavor. Such a nice way to end the meal. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This spot is a hidden gem for anyone craving delicious Korean food. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Last night was our first time getting take out from Southern Smackerz and we'll definitely be back! We got catfish dinners. They came with 2 sides each. We got greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and okra. It was all delicious. And they were having a special where you got an extra piece of fish with the meal you ordered. Pay for 2 pcs get 3, pay for 3 get 4. It was SO much food. The people were really friendly and the service was fast. I highly recommend. We can't wait to try more of their menu.”

“Lovely pub. A nice range of seating. A private booth or a social bar area. Service tends to be slow so not a place to eat or drink in a rush. That said service is friendly the beer is lovely and the appetizers/bar fare are totally worth eating.”
