“Fantastic food! We were in from Rhode Island for the races at Kokomo Speedway. We got a tip from the waitress at breakfast and she was right on. We got the brisket and sausage. Moist and smoky. The brisket had the flavor ring and cut with a fork. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. Only two guys work here and they were both very personable. We are experts in eating BBQ and this is some of the best we ever had.”

We got greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and okra. It was all delicious. And they were having a special where you got an extra piece of fish with the meal you ordered. Pay for 2 pcs get 3, pay for 3 get 4. It was SO much food. The people were really friendly and the service was fast. I highly recommend. We can't wait to try more of their menu.”

“I still vividly remember the day Sokuri Restaurant first opened in Kokomo. It may not be so special occasion if you live in a big city, but for me, the thrill and joy that this very first Korean restaurant in town did bring to me back then was truly enormous.

I was born and raised in Korea, and grew up with Korean food until my early 30s, so I wanted so badly more than anyone else for a Korean restaurant to open in Kokomo. -- One of the hardest things about living alone here for me was not loneliness, but FOOD (along with English).

Thankfully, Sokuri's dishes were surprisingly great, authentic, clean, and of course so delicious.  Most importantly, they don't seem to use too much salt or artificial seasoning, so it tasted classy nostalgic just like my mom cooking at home for family.  It's obviously not easy to find such an integrous/conscientious restaurant in Indiana, so I'm really grateful for having Sokuri in my neighborhood.

“I had the shrimp scampi and it was good, not great. For dessert I had the chocolate bomba and it was fantastic. I've had many meals here and it's always good to great. Good selection of beer and wine, they have hard liquor too. I highly recommend Carmela's.”

“It's a very nice little place to get you a simple breakfast. The menu has a lot of options, but I just wanted an order of eggs, sausage, and toast. The waitress was very kind and attentive. This place reminded me of the many times I would go to a local cafe and see the old boys chatting up a storm about the latest news and gossip. If I ever pass through Kokomo again, I will definitely think of this spot.”

“better care for customers. my son was sitting at the table yesterday and the umbrellas were out well the wind pulled the umbrella off the post of the table and knocked him off the seat onto the ground and the umbrella was on top of him. not one employee asked if he was ok or anything someone just came out and took the umbrellas down.
