Superb local bar--only reason for 4 stars on Atmosphere was the outside could be updated. We weren't looking for fancy just nice people, good drinks and food and that is what we got. “We arranged this dinner as part of a wonderful short vacation to ride a steam train from Indiana to Michigan and back the next day. Our family came from Lafayette and Carmel by car to the restaurant. The staff was patient as we changed our arrival time several times over. The meal was superb and we had a great time together.“

“This hidden gem, located in Huntertown, boasts a surprisingly spacious interior and a generously sized outside patio area, despite its modest exterior appearance. However, parking can be limited & the establishment may be challenging to locate. Although smoking is permitted, the ventilation system is highly effective, minimizing the presence of cigarette smoke. I ordered 10 wings, requesting extra crispiness, which unfortunately wasn't achieved, likely due to the smoking process. Nonetheless, the wings were bursting with flavor and remained delicious. The only improvement would be crisper skin. Additionally, we ordered the sausage roll, which was exceptional - arguably among the top three I've ever had. It arrived hot, with a soft yet non-gummy exterior, and was filled with fresh ingredients & lot's of toppings. The $3 long neck beer special was an excellent value. Our waitress provided attentive and helpful service, and the environment was clean and well-appointed. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to try their funnel fries & other menu items!!!“

“It's a small town bar they have plenty of beer and what you need. You can play pool with two tables, pull tabs and buy music. They have specials on the wall. The bartenders are wonderful, sassy and know how to treat their customers. One set back is with so many styles of drinks out there they are not familiar or updated on this. They are old school. The best part is there's plenty of room to enjoy youre self and the bathrooms are nice and roomy.“
