Recent Reviews

Shorty's became a regular destination after we recently moved to the area. Tonight, however, I was very disappointed to find that one of my favorite entrees, Grilled Chopped Steak had been taken off the menu. I can only assume that I was one of the few diners who ordered it. We most likely will continue to dine at Shorty's so please don't also remove the Peanut Butter Pie!

Have heard about Shorty's for some time now and finally decided to try it. It's about a 30 minute drive from Sylvan Lake but well worth it. Food and Service were outstanding last night and the music couldn't have been better (classic rock). Wife and son both had the Filet Mignon cooked medium rare with Brussels. I had the Surf and Turf with the Ribeye. My son wanted to try the Lobster tail and was blown away with its taste. We were all very satisfied with our selections...

Katherine was our server. She noticed right off something wasn't right with my shrimp and grits. The andouille sausage was cooked to the point of being rocks. Literally. Shrimp and grits were absolutely perfect. Extremely intuitive server. Management made things right. We'll be back. 💛
