My wife and I go there roughly once a month for the great German and Italian dinners, and the weekend dinner specials. The most recent WEEKEND SPECIAL was Schweinegeschnetzeltes (pork tips) " Swiss Style " w/ Spaetzle (a type of German noodle). I thought it was truly delicious, needed extra bread to finish up all the great sauce. Cleaned my plate off (literally). My wife is a more picky eater than I am, and she really loved it too. We were out with another couple. We all ordered a different entrée. All 4 meals delicious. Serving sizes are perfect. The waiter did a great job. Each couple split a dessert. Both delicious also.

A small town hidden gem for German cuisine! We tried this place for the first time. Our server was upfront when he explained that food was prepared nearly from scratch and that it would be a bit of a wait. We appreciated his honesty, but we didn’t think it took that long anyway. We also walked in just before a party of 21 came in. The schnitzels were excellent. It was very reasonably priced as well. This place is worth the drive to Garrett. We’ll definitely be back.
