Went for a birthday and all i have to say both our steaks tasted like lite and match charcoal it was terrible.

I used to come here every weekend to have drinks and enjoy the live band music. Now, their drinks are too expensive for my taste and they replaced the live music with DJs, so I rarely go now. Not that I dislike DJs, but the live music is what set it apart from other bars in the area. The atmosphere doesn't suit DJs as well as it did the live bands. If they're going to stick with DJs, it would be better if the bar was more separated from the main casino floor (like the High Roller room is). I've also eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and the food was delicious. I opted for the king crab both times.

First time at this restaurant it was phenomenal felt good to have fine dining in town. Our server Ryan was great no complaints he was on top of everything. The food tasted so good definitely have to come back to try everything else I saw on the menu. We had the Rockefeller oysters, Lamb chops, bone in New York Strip, meat balls and Mac and cheese. Sorry no pictures I was excited to indulge!!

Council oak is the literal best restaurant in Northwest Indiana. All the steaks are cooked with precision and all the non steak items are all great ways to mix it up if you just don’t want steak. The seafood is always fresh and the salads are cool spins on classic recipes! I eat food here frequently and love everything I taste. The sides are all excellent. They just added a sweet potato mash in time for fall and it the best I have ever had. The service Matches the food the servers there are some of the most professional and talented. You feel like you are at a fine dining restaurant in downtown when you are there. If you haven’t tried this place I highly recommend!!!

Apparently, this steakhouse only takes reservations and does not take walk-ins at all. A great way to treat your customers.
Will not be returning to this casino. Anytime, ever.

Absolutely outstanding meal. We had Melissa as our main waitress. She did such a good job making the dinner flow from cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desert, etc. There was never a moment that I waited for her or the team. The food was incredible. We had the seafood tower, wagu steaks, and deserts. Thanks for a great meal, will be returning soon and requesting Melissa.

we had Oster Rockefeller and shrimp coattail absolutely wonderful Than i had lobster bisk and my husband had the scallops they were wonderful too I would defiantly go back!

Dining at Council Oak Steaks and Seafood was an incredible experience from start to finish. The seafood was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and my steak was one of the best I’ve had in years. The ambiance is classy and intimate, making it ideal for a date or celebration. The staff was professional yet warm, ensuring every detail was just right. I can’t wait to go back.

The food and service were great. We were running about 15 minutes late due to heavy traffic and they were very accommodating.

Great dining experience. Delicious steak dinner and french onion soup. Fabulous.

i had a wonderful night last night i saw a friend of mine last night who i knew transferred from Francesca's My friend gave me a Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo and she did it and i loved her last night my experience last night was wonderful and my special shoutout goes to my friend and tina they made my night and i god bless them both and i thank you
the Council Oak Steaks and Seafood for having me last night my family and i really thought the food was good and the Service was wonderful and the Atmosphere was good and everything was wonderful last night i will come back to the Council Oak Steaks and Seafood again because it was wonderful last night and i had a wonderful night last night and it was good other than that i had a wonderful night and everything was wonderful i will come back in the summertime next year i love you all and thank you very much for a wonderful night last night
