“The place was packed due to all the football games. Our waitress was right on..I never had to wait for a drink. Great bloody Mary's! To bad the packers lost. Pizza was elellent also. We always got pizzas to go but my first time dining in.“

“I came in and place an order waiting for the food when it was ready. The cook gave me the food and I left. I left and later realize that I didn't pay for my order so I returned and pay for everything I really enjoy the service and the people there. “Maxim's restaurant had been receiving a lot of chatter from several people that I know, so we decided to try it out. I liked the Senior Menu that they offer daily which comes with soup or salad, main entry (which the variety of items is large) a vegetable, choice of potatoes, drink and dessert. The Senior Menu is for those 60 + for about $12.00 dollars. Great price and good sized portions. The restaurant is a good size and they have a Full Bar and you can order your meal and cocktails on either side. I probably should have gotten a Few drinks prior to my meal because I was with a chronic complainer, and I just knew that the meal was not going to be correct excuse me her meal was not going to be correct. so she ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich but they sent her the pork tenderloin seniors dinner instead. She did not like that her pork tenderloin sandwich had gravy on it. When her meal first came out, it was the pork tenderloin dinner. Our sweet little server was so very patient with us. She took the pork tenderloin plate back and requested the pork tenderloin sandwich. So I'm not sure whether the cooks got tired of us sending back her food or if they were just kind of lazy because the pork tenderloin that they served her initially, was the same pork tenderloin that they threw on a bun. She said that it was good but she didn't like the gravy that the cooks kept on it. Meanwhile back on the ranch, I ordered a Montey Christal sandwich deluxe, which comes with your choice of potato and soup salad. The sandwich was okay but the meats were kind of thick for my taste. Our server's name was Jalessa and she was very friendly and Very Patient with us and the cooks in the kitchen. Overall, the food was good, but the service was impeccable. They have a vast menu of many dishes and a fool, dessert case with homemade baklava, several types of cheesecakes, carrot cake and pies.“

“Great place great food great service great atmosphere. They even have a euro type menu with some of the best cevaps (Croatian sausage) I've ever had. If you want the perfect mixture of neighborhood atmosphere on a busy street this is the spot to go to. They have a smoking area in the back, bocce ball pit, and this place is huge inside you would never guess that from looking from the outside. Don't let The mini mall type bar detour you from this hidden gem. They also have great live music and other events. Not to mention the owner does go on Facebook constantly talking about his bar and what's going on so totally hands-on.“

“It was my first time visiting the Bullpen. My sister's and I ordered the wings and Strawberry Margarita. The wings were very tasty. The Margarita was sweet and tangy. Dj Squeeze is awesome. He will play your requested song without any hassle. In his mixture of genres, there was westcoast music spun. We stayed til closing time.“
“Beer on tap seems to have a better flavor. The selection was all I needed. I like a beer but I don't need 20 types. The 5 they have are enough and a good variety. The price for the on tap beer is nice and low too if you just want to wet your whistle.Bring cash. It is now cash only.“

The issue was that the breading became pretty soggy from the sauce. “The employees are very nice. Was told the place was understaffed. Took almost 25 minutes for us to get our first round of draft beer. It was nice and cold though. “This is not a fancy or trendy restaurant or sports bar. It is a clean, nicely decorated local sports bar with good TVs and sound. Great place for mostly smaller groups. The food is not gourmet but very satisfying. I've eaten pizza around the US for 50 years of my life, and it's not the best I've ever had, but it is very good and one of my local favorites. If you're dissatisfied with the pizza, then you don't know good pizza. The wings are again not the best but better than average with a variety of flavors. Same with the burgers, they are good. If you find that any restaurant doesn't make good burgers, then stop ordering more than medium done. Then, add more salt to your taste if needed. Other food is also good. What makes this place special is that they have great food and drink specials. Yes, service can be slow at times, but it's usually because of their great specials. I had my son's 21st birthday here for family, and they had a small reserved section for about 20 people. The pizza, wings and service were fantastic. If you're going to expect perfection, then you may not like this place. If you're looking for an above average place, that's clean and serves decent food and great pizza. To watch some sports or hang out and have a few cocktails and not break the bank, this is the place to go. That's why they get 5 stars. Also, if you get bad service many times it's because you have a bad attitude or it's 1/2 price pizza day on Wed and it's crowded.“
