Great find today! Very no frills but great bbq! Decor was fun but the bbq was great! Will be traveling 1 1/2 hrs. to have bbq. From Texas and the closest we've found here in Indiana that compares. Prices and serving size were outstanding.
A great little eatery if you are in the mood for bbq. They open at 11. We got here early on purpose to try to avoid people but folks were waiting to come in pretty much at opening which I think is a really good sign. The atmosphere was cool, very well done and the food was solid. Their deserts are worth a look into if you have room left. Staff was extremely friendly and the portions were ample. Context: It was prom night and we had a reservation for The Tomahawk set a month earlier. They bailed on us and acted as if we didn’t have a reservation. So we called around and Pappi’s was the only place that wasn’t full nice and available.
It was amazing, glad we went there, even though messy for prom night.
Food was GREAT. Atmosphere was great, not only from the employees and the store.
