Mayasari Indonesian Grill Reviews
The food was delicious and the owners are so friendly. I had the beef curry and the fried banana in crepes for dessert. Perfect halfway spot between Cincinnati and Indianapolis, too!
Indonesian? That’s not really some thing cuisine wise that someone would think of in Greensburg, Indiana let alone in our region of the country. I’d heard about this restaurant for years and it had always peaked my interest. Especially after hearing the owner had been appointed to the Indiana Grown Initiative Commission. Today my wife and boys decided to eat here for lunch. Boy oh boy was it delicious!

The family-owned restaurant provides a unique dining experience that many customers plan to return to, praising the friendly staff and tasty sauces. Signature dishes like Rendang, a savory dried meat served with rice and spicy pickled veggies called acar, are favorites. This unexpected gem offers a great meal and warm service, making it a must-visit spot in Greensburg. The lamb kebab had the best tasting, tenderest meat. The service was excellent. The Beef Rendang and meatball soup are highly recommended dishes. The Beef Curry had great warming spices, almost like nutmeg, while still being delicious. The risolle is a must-try. The Chicken Satay was really good with contrasting flavors and the chicken was so tender and not dried out. The Sautéed Asparagus Special was equally as good. The meals were really Great and the small homey atmosphere was good as well.
