Service was lacking, food was better than ok, but nothing to write home about. Bruchetta and pizza were the best thing on the menu. Even the dessert was just...OK. We were celebrating a graduate and was not impressed.
It was very strange with the reservation experience. We walked in and they said that our specific table wasn't ready yet and I told them we'll take any table doesn't need to be a specific table and they said they already assigned one to us and that it would be a 30 minute wait. It wasn't 30 minutes, it was 15 minutes but they called me, not texted. Just thought this was odd. Once we sat down nobody came to our table so I had to approach a server after another...
My wife and I met up with the in-laws and decided we wanted to go to Buca Di Beppos. As always, we had a pleasant time. This Buca location is very consistent, so the staff was nice, and the food was solid. I decided to try a new dish and was pleasantly surprised. The cream sauce was light and tasty. Thank you again for consistently being a good go-to for my family.
