“Grindhouse is my favorite place to go have a beef bomb sándwich and a decaf caramel latte. My husband always gets a black coffee and the house salad with goat cheese, chicken, and a honey-mustard, homemade dressing. They have bags of coffee, honey, hot sauces, and shorts for sale too. Also, this coffee house always mixes up the menu if you're one who likes variety. They have cool music playing in the background and the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable conversation. I will always go here because I love everything about this place.

Parking: Lots of spots to Park.

Kid-friendliness: I bring my grandsons ages 5 to 16 here all the time. It's right next to Griffith Park; so you can go play afterwards“

“I visited the establishment out of curiosity. The enticing aromas of freshly baked goods permeated the air. An assortment of doughnuts, scones, cookies, danishes, and loaves of bread were on display. I made a purchase of two tarts, namely the Twix and the Briscoff. The Twix tart bore a striking resemblance to the popular candy bar, yet it surpassed it in terms of taste and quality. It consisted of a shortbread crust filled with a delectable caramel custard, topped with chocolate and a piece of a Twix bar. The experience was truly divine. I have reserved the Briscoff tart for a later occasion. The establishment offers a diverse selection of other delectable items, including cakes. I intend to revisit the establishment in the future to indulge in a sweet treat.“

I love the seasonality of menu and plethora of interesting options. Most recently we enjoyed the Wagyu Albondiga, Pork Tostadas, Chicken Skewers with Blueberry Salsa, Filet with Winter Squash, Potatas Bravas, and the Fried Plantains. The flavors were bright and complex and absolutely delicious! For dessert, we had the tres leches and the coconut creme brule which was so uniquely plated and tasted absolutely divine. Provecho is our favorite date-night and special occasion spot. I can't recommend it enough!“

“I took My Daughter and 2 Grandsons to eat dinner on Friday, Dec 13th. Our server, Imani C, couldn't have been more irresponsible. 1st, My Grandson ordered a lemonade, and was brought a sprite. He kept it anyway. My Daughter ordered a SMALL salad, and was brought a LARGE one. ( was charged for large) and She kept that too. My Grandsons ordered a pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni. Got pepperoni on ALL of it. So as to not have them wait while my Daughter and I ate, We kept it also. My Daughter ordered My Son In Law a large order of Homer's donuts, only was given 3. Took My Son, Grandsons , and Husband to eat at Texas Roadhouse last week, and We all got steak dinners for the price we paid for Pizzas here!! Have eaten here numerous times before with no problems. This was a horrible visit, and it will be a long time before I bring My Family here again!! ☆☆It was the Schererville In location.☆☆“

“I randomly chose this restaurant as a meet up spot for friends who enjoy Thai food. Found just a spot off of Route 30 in Merrillville, I was so happy with the experience. Outside it looks like it was once a different restaurant but inside transports you into an absolutely lovely dining room. I had my go to Tofu pad Thai. I had been warned that their spice level may be higher than the average American version of Thai. No problem for me. It was delicious. Too many places make this dish overly sweet and this had that great balance of sweet, salty and sour. Our table also enjoyed various fried rice dishes, potstickers and a panang curry. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was excellent. Our waiter did a great job making sure wedding had time to order. It is a small restaurant with a small staff but our food timing and service were spot on. I definitely would go back and I found a new “happy place.”“

Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. “Was there last Friday. Food and service were excellent. They were out of the Stagg bourbon that I ordered…which was priced at $30 a pour. The waiter asked if I would like to substitute EH Taylor Small Batch instead…which is priced at $17 per pour in the menu. I said that would be fine. I watched them bring the bottle out which I recognized as Small Batch. The bourbon was excellent. Received my bill and was charged the $30 for the Stagg. Pointed it out to the waiter and he said oh no, the bourbon we substituted for you is priced much higher at $47 a pour and we gave that to you for the same price since we were out of the Stagg. I said, no you gave me the EH Taylor Small Batch which is priced at $17 on the menu. He said no I don’t think so. I said can you please ask the bartender what she poured, she said it was the small batch. They whispered back and forth a bit and she told me that I should take advantage of that bill adjustment…like I got a deal when all I wanted was to be charged according to what the menu stated. In the end our waiter was apologetic, adjusted our bill correctly, and was very friendly and attentive throughout our dinner. Just seemed a bit fishy to me. I don’t know everything about bourbon but, I do some hunting and would never pay $30 let alone $47 a pour for Taylor small batch.“

“Went to lunch today with my son, ordered the special Lake Perch w/mac and cheese. When it came I took 2 bites of the perch and found it to be mushy and not cooked enough. Called the waitress and gave it back to her, she showed the boss and he said "I just had some and it was ok" when the bill came they made me pay for it,I told the boss I didnt eat it and sent it back but he just said I should have let them cook it longer. This is a terrible way to run a business , I will never go back there and hope anyone who reads this will stay away , hope I dont get sick from this.“
