While in Fort Wayne for a doctor appointment, we decided to find a restaurant nearby for breakfast. Found Lakeside Cafe during a google search and was not disappointed. The restaurant features breakfast and lunch. Many selections to choose from, but we opted for the standard egg plate with hash browns, meat and pancakes. All for $5.99. The portions were huge and each came with 4 pieces of bacon. One plate would have fed both of us - we had 4 breakfasts just buying 2 selections....read full review
Had the jumbo brisket (brisket on a baked potato with toppings--my husband and I shared it since it was SO big) and tried the pork loin at Byler Lane Winery last night. All delicious food and the staff is friendly. Thanks!
My wife and I visit 2-3 times a month, never disappointed. Have never had a bad meal there and our waitress Glenda is super. Fav is the omelettes "huge" you can get 3 meals out of them. Service is always fast and we always give a good tip. Don't change a thing!
