“My wife and I stopped for lunch and a couple of beers. We had a double cheeseburger, a grinder, pretzel bites and fries. The food was delicious and the beers were cold. The service was okay and the lunch atmosphere was a little blah. It's a big, nice place but we were about the only people there.“

“Richard's is a classic staple in Hartford City, I always enjoy meals from there time to time. The fish dinners are cooked perfectly the and seasoned just right. The side dishes are good as well, the coleslaw and seasoned fries with dinner roll are a perfect compliment. But can't beat the fried chicken. I have tried the steak and in all honesty it's a hit or miss with me. The steaks need to be more tender. The flavor is there with a good grill char, but the texture needs to be tender. I remember going to Richards as a boy and enjoy the Friday fish fry and some sides from the salad bar and it's still pretty decent for the money. All in all a would recommend to tourists or anyone wanting a family friendly restaurant that has a great variety menu to suit anyone's taste. The classics are always a good option and the meals served promptly, hot from the kitchen with little wait. The atmosphere has the down home relaxing feel. Definitely put Richards at the top of your list of restaurants to visit!“

“Came here to get a pizza, some breadsticks & a beer. Pizza was delicious & so were the breadsticks, ended up getting a royal feast & the guy that was cooking in the kitchen knows exactly what he's doing! Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking to get a tasty pizza.“

We both got the Big Larry, a hand breaded tenderloin sandwich. It was really good. nice and juicy, light breading that was crisp, didn't fall off all over the place, and tender. It's an actual piece of loin that is tenderized and breaded, not a fritter type tenderloin. Service was amazing! it was like being at a Chic-Fil-A as she said "My pleasure!" throughout the meal. Good fries and a nice side salad. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the food and service are top notch!“

“Was eating with my whole team(30 people) including all four of our coaches. And i tell you this place is quick in and out in 1 hour for all 30 of us ill say this place has gooood breakfast for like 10$ i got some pancakes a muffin and ham for 10$ and it was well worth it. The atmosphere was just magnificent. I would go every day if i could. Plus they have a sticker machine THATS 3 STARS IN ITS SELF. New owners are so good too.“

You have to order your meal seperately from icecream and there's always a wait for icecream so it discourages getting both food and icecream.Not fast. Expect a wait. It wasnt that busy and it took 45 minutes for our icecream to be ready. We walked right in and ordered this time. Often there's a wait to order and they are lined out the door.
