“Thanks. I arrived late at night on a Saturday night for take-out. The restaurant only does take out. I appreciate them being there. The 3 entrées took 45 minutes to prepare. I imagine that's because food is made from scratch, and it's not sitting under heat lamps.If you want your food "faster" call ahead for your order. After 9 p.m., the restaurant does not do call-in pickup orders. I gave 5 stars all around. Entrées come with a good portion of food.Be sure to check on your takeout order before you leave the shop.Everything's irie.[My drive from the restaurant was 20 minutes plus another 5 minutes to get settled before I could eat any food. Of course, it was cold by then. I heated it up in the microwave. If you're getting it delivered or have a drive back home, expect that. The reason why I'm stating the obvious here is because I'm not sure if that contributed to the fries and chicken tenders that I ordered being very soggy and oily by the time I got home. It was so oily I could only take one bite and about 5 fries. We liked everything else we ordered. The price was great. I think we should give small businesses the chance to make orders right and even shop them a few times before we give up on their products. Talk to management so they are aware of any issue. “Really good fresh food. I’ve had their individual orders and catered portions and the quality was excellent both times. I had the catfish, brown stew chicken, and jerk chicken. I aways ask for ox tail gravy on everything and they didn't charge extra like some places. My whole family loved it, we will be back for sure.“
“Food was good. I tried to call in my order but the young man told me I had to order online or in person. I ordered online and it auto populated a tip amount. I don't tip unless I'm dining in so I changed it to $0. After entering my card info, it never gave the final total before processing, but I just assumed my $0 tip had registered. It wasn't until after I ate and looked at the receipt that was sent to me, that I saw a tip for $3.27. Again, had I dined in, a $3.27 tip is nothing. But to just pick up my order, why tip? Anyway, It may sound petty to some but I would like my $3.27 back. Other than that, the food was good and it seemed like a good environment for dining in.“
