Stopped by yesterday for my first time. They had the fried chicken sandwich special w/fries so I went with that. Service was outstanding! My sandwich came out piping hot and all of the toppings tasted fresh! My crinkle fries had good seasoning flavor! I asked for green beans and they brought out cole slaw BUT the cole slaw was incredible so I didn't say anything! Atmosphere was perfect small town vibes. Love it and will be back for sure!!

We found this little diner online and decided to try it. The slaw was excellent. I ordered grilled chicken and my husband ordered grilled tenderloin. When they brought it out they were both grilled tenderloin, but it was good and the waitress made it right. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were good too. I would definitely go back if we are ever in Hope again. Nice little place to eat.

This business is no longer, it was purchased and is now named ah-ha cafe. I ate a burger there and it was pretty good, much better than previous owner.

Food was okay but nothing great. I had grilled tenderloin with mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans. Tenderloin was thin and overcooked slightly. Sausage gravy was on my mashed potatoes and I didn't care for that. Would go again to try something else. Cute little diner, staff friendly and the diner was clean. Good place for breakfast or lunch.

Feb. 2024 - Very disappointed as I liked Cornett's Cafe and like to support local businesses but just did not enjoy the food. Beef in the Manhattan had little flavor and was room temperature. The potatoes were okay but the gravy and green beans just tasted like onions, confirming another review I had seen before going. My husband said his Country Fried Steak was decent but we both agreed the Mozzarella Sticks were not worth ordering.Parking: A few spaces in front of restaurant but a lot of nearby street parking

I'm trying to get this straight. A tenderloin sandwich, which was ok (it was actually a soggy mess), a cup of veggie soup and a large coke was $23? You can go to Grandma's or Cow Palace in Shelbyville and get the same food items for less than $18. Heck, the BP gas station on State Road 44 (Broadway St.) in Shelbyville serves better tenderloins for $6.50. Why does this place in Hope have Indianapolis pricing? And the tenderloin was the special of the day? Sloppy/soggy specials for $15? What's special about that?

Mrs. Tammy takes great care of you. The food was good and the portion were just right. Great place to stop in, slow down, and enjoy life. My 93 year old grandmother really liked the kids cheeseburger!

I had the chicken and rice soup and the peach cobbler and both were delicious! The place looks great with the renovations they have done. Will definitely go back!

We are new to Hope and the Corner Cafe was suggested to us by a friend. We were not disappointed! I've only had the breakfast

My wife and I stopped by for the first time today and enjoyed every minute. Our burgers were great. The owner and the two employees who took our order and brought it out to us could not have been friendlier. Stopping here was a super way to start our day trip. There are towns much larger than Hope that don't have a locally owned place this good.Thomas
