I was not sure what to expect but have wanted to try real Chai for a long time. My visit was on a Thursday at mid-day. I loved the atmosphere and was hoping to understand a bit about Chai but must admit I was puzzled by the taste of the Chocolate Chai I ordered. I am hoping to try a visit at another time to see if I can determine why the taste was so different from what I expected.

Two drinks and two samosa were a fantastic start to a day. Brown sugar cinnamon chai and the rosemary chai were delicious. Served hot and quickly. Staff was getting drinks and food out quickly and we had a good time looking at available merchandise and the table and chairs we sat in were comfortable.Vegetarian options: The samosas were lovely and vegan. Drinks also available to make vegan! Usually there is no issue getting drinks but to find potato samosas out in the world that my family can eat was a lovely surprise. Served with mint & mango chutney that elevated the savory potatoes.

So many dazzling Chai options in this understated cafe! I tried the ginger chai, and it was piping hot and delicious. I couldn't pass up the homemade samosa, which came with 2 sauces; flavorful and filling. Cannot wait to come back and try the other chai drinks they have!

Such wonderful service. The atmosphere is beautiful and I stopped by just to see it when it was closed and the worker let me in and made me the best chai I've had in my life. Such a lovely place.

We had a short weekend in Indianapolis and I have been checking out Yelp Indy for the best options on places to go. One of the new finds was called A Cup of Chai. I was very impressed with their menu when I checked it out. We finally got to go one morning and I was overjoyed to be able to get a cup of chai as well as different snacks. I decided to get just a masala chai and was fantastic. It was warm, rich, and spiced just right. I noticed that the food options were also very elegant with samosas. They also had a lot of options where you could buy tea sets as well. I was very impressed with the chai and the inviting ambiance. This South Asian girl approves.
They are trying their best to recreate an authentic Indian chai experience. We didn't get to try the full menu, but both flavors of chai were fantastic.

I'm definitely coming back to try the food. Today I was served by MJ who was incredibly nice and informative. The vibe in there was very cute and chill. I got the brown sugar and cinnamon chai. I'm lactose intolerant and it came standard with oat milk, so that's always very nice.
