Big Woods

I’m not one to make a review and a bad review at that. But I’ve been to the Nashville location in the past with no issues. But I went to the speedway location and it was not what I expected. The service was great however my food was so disappointing. My burger which I asked for medium was beyond well done. And I never complain if meat is a little past my liking, but this wasn’t acceptable. My side was not the side I even ordered. And I guess the entire meal was so under whelming. Maybe it was an off night. So I will come again, but it won’t be for a while.

We ate at the Bloomington, IN location. The service was bad, we didn’t get refills until After the appetizer and meal was eaten. The truffle/parm fries were hardly garnished/dressed. The fish was way over deep fried and her grilled chicken sandwich was dry.

My friends and I ate in the bar at this restaurant/brewery at Keystone at the Crossing, inside the fashion mall. Todd, the bartender, was our server, and he was fantastic. Very attentive, informative, and efficient. He even agreed to put the one of the two big TVs above the bar to the game we wanted!
One of us had the lemon chicken, two nice sized boneless chicken breasts, plus rice and the roasted brussels sprouts.
My other friend and I chose the pulled pork sandwich. The pork tasted very fresh, I felt that it tasted like it was smoked, but my friend didn’t. Regardless, it was an excellent sandwich. We chose the pub fries with no seasoning, and they came out super hot and fresh. The beer selection is wonderful, I would definitely recommend!

The service was great, and the food was good. The pulled pork nachos are very good and have good flavors. The Brussel sprouts were good as well, but I probably wouldn't order them again. I definitely would try some other appetizers.

I work in the mall and they apparently hate the business that mall workers might bring to their business. I went to get a takeout order and due to a menu item being mistakenly marked cheaper than it should have been. Instead of handling this with tact they wanted me to pay the difference because apparently I should have to pay for their mistake. Honoring the listed price through an app like Toast or DoorDash is just a common thing for basically every restaurant, not Big Woods! Their staff especially the male bartender is always the first to run away and avoid serving most anyone that walks in and constantly misgenders me. The people there always seem completely annoyed with you or just downright rude. I highly recommend choosing other options in the mall.

I work at the mall so i usually would order a kids meal. That is no longer after today. I ordered my regular, it cost more than before and after getting my meal it had everything i didnt want on it as well as my sliders being downsized. Lame i used to stand by the food :/

My wife and I eat here often with running our cafe next door. We love the staff there and the Bourbon Chicken sandwich is our go-to! Yum yum <3

We ordered wings, 10 inch cheese pizza, and pork nachos with two bar drinks that took a total of 90 minutes start to finish. Server was slow, we had to ask her to check on our drinks after 15 minutes. When my food was wrong she said “oh they didn’t take the beans off, but is your other food okay” then walked away. Kids loved the pretzel, wings tasted great but not a great overall experience. Would not return.

Staying at the Sheraton Keystone which connects to the mall. Stumbled upon Big Woods. The Quaff On Hoosier Red and the pulled pork sandwich were very good.

Had no idea Quaff On had so many different beers! The chili cheese fries and chicken sandwich were both very good! We stopped in for a quick bite before doing some shopping, but we definitely want to come back to try more of the food!

Went last night we had nachos appetizer it was not good. Covered in ranch and bbq that tasted like sweet baby ray’s! My wife order the chicken tacos and I ordered the steak. We both took one bight they was awful! I don’t think I never been to restaurant and food so bad we didn’t want to eat anything! We left and went lMcDonald’s around the corner still hungry.

Ordered an upgrade of soup as a side instead of fries. Got home and there were fries instead of the soup. Called the restaurant and after a long wait, the manager came to the phone. I told him what happened. No apology but he did say he would refund the $4 upgrade cost. I just checked my statement after several weeks and there was no refund. I know it's only $4 but one person in our party got fries when they don't eat fried food and when you promise a refund, you follow through. This wasn't our first visit to the restaurant but it is our last

The BEST hamburger I've ever had 10/10 would recommend!

Food isn't bad if you can get it. I just hung out at the host station while the bartender and a couple of servers looked at me and walked away. For a mall restaurant with little to offer other than convenience that's not worth the hassle.
