The waiter did the best should could with what she had, but they don’t have anything they have on their menu. The food is overly priced and not that good! The portions are small as well. The live band is a good idea but it is extremely loud in that place to where you can’t enjoy the music. Ain’t nothing in there luxury sorry!
I've tried to give this place a chance multiple times and they continue to fail. Last night was my last time wasting my money. The food has gotten worse yet more expensive. The service was terrible. Granted my waitress did let me know the cook would not be starting on my appetizer until after they finished the food for a big birthday party, at least 20 people. So that let me know it was most likely only 1 person in the kitchen cooking. I waited over an hour for my food and my dinner came out before the appetizer egg rolls I ordered. They had absolutely no cash in the facility, thankfully I also had my card. My bill was over $50 and I was told they didn't have change for $100 nor did they have change at the door for a $20 for the $10 cover charge. The best thing was the live band. Serving $20 cocktails and $30+ entrée without being able to provide change is ridiculous. Definitely cannot consider yourself a 5 star establishment with these kinds of issues. They need to shut back down and get it together.
I took my order to go and lucky I checked my bag. One order wasn't placed in side my bag.. I ordered chicken wing dinner with Macaroni and greens. My sides were small in my opinion. I always ordered their 6 egg rolls they were kinda oily and the inside contents were lacking to say less. I paid $63 for my order. The good great thing i will say is. The food tasted great.!! 1-10 I'd give them an 8.
Ate here before food was great but I recently set up reservations for my sister birthday but when I made it there they said they couldn’t find our reservation and said they were understaff just so unprofessional should have gave me notice for I could have canceled after having 15 people come.
I was excited to take my cousins to Blakus, especially after my first visit. The food was decent, but they were literally sold out of almost everything on the menu—even though my party was the only one dining at the time. I decided to give them another chance, but this time was even more disappointing.
Their online hours clearly state they are open from 12 PM to 10 PM, so we arrived at 2 PM—only to find the restaurant completely closed with no sign or explanation. This lack of communication is unprofessional and frustrating for customers who plan their visit based on their advertised hours. If there was an unexpected closure, a simple notice on the door or an update online would have been the right thing to do.
Consistency and reliability are key in the restaurant business, and unfortunately, Blakus has fallen short both times. I hope they improve their operations and communication because the potential is there, but the execution is lacking.
This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Our server was unfriendly & seemed uninterested in being there even though we tried to be friendly. She got our order wrong bringing different sides without telling us in advance and claiming the ones we wanted weren’t available. Another server later brought the side we had originally asked for. To make matters worse the unfriendly server messed up our bill and overcharged us. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told no one was available. I eventually spoke with the owner who apologized but I won’t be coming back. The customer service here seriously needs improvement. The food was okay but not worth the price and the experience.

The menu is small, and they did not have anything on the menu I wanted to eat the night I visited the establishment . I would not classify it as luxurious at all. The area for live entertainment is too small , so the singing can be overwhelming, if you are seated in that area. There is no dance floor , if you wanted to dance. The server was unprofessional.
On a positive note the decor was nice.

This is a wonderful place to experience fine dining and great atmosphere. There was a live band on Saturdays. Ask for Angela! She will give you the best experience I ever had at a restaurant!
Parking: It’s across the street from the restaurant

Driven passed several times here lately since traffic is different every time, but I'm 99% certain that this place is closed. There is a piece of paper on the door and I can read that it is closed, but couldn't read why from the car. Lights were off so who knows.
Did not have our reservation and seemed perplexed to find a solution. Gave me the wrong drink twice. Gave my friend the wrong food. Only gave us a fork for silverware and two people received water. Nice seating section was closed due to unknown smell. Music was goodish most of the time but a little loud and sharp. Food was very good.

The service was excellent, the bartender was very friendly. We were there with a group. Downstairs is a bar with lots of seating and some art installations. Upstairs are several unique lounge areas, music, DJ, etc. Very cool place!

Price of the food versus what you get is not comparable. Ordered Peach cobbler and literally got 3 table spoons. Tried to pay with cash and couldn't they were out of cash

Let’s start with food: party of 8, three of the dishes we order were sold out ( only later was told one of the item they actually had). I understand selling out an item, the place was not crowded to warn a sell out of anything. Second was told the Lamp Crops no one had them in the city. ( how you know that is beyond me), suggestion let your staff know what’s ( or not in our case) available to your customers.
Our party sat upstairs. The speaker was extremely loud, ( and when band started to play… let just say … there are no words) finally after several employees who had try during the night to lower the speakers was finally successful.
Our waiter Carson was excellent. Mash potatoes were my favorite, Salmon was dry. Also the Green/Turkey rolls were delicious.
I was visiting from Texas let’s just say it wouldn’t be on my places to visit when I come back.
Vegetarian options: That’s one of the dishes that was sold out . Which was my first choice
