What a surprise this place was! Walking in we were greeted kindly and promptly seated. Our waitress was incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. Everything came out fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. They were also very kind with getting things ready for take out for a meal I brought home for my mom. From start to finish I was absolutely impressed and happy with everything from the service, food and clean atmosphere. Definitely will be making a return visit. Thank you Burritos Express!!!

The last two times I got dinner comb number 7 the tamales were hard and unedible. Also last time I ordered ground beef enchilada and chicken burrito and both were ground beef.

This place is a hidden gem, and some of the best Mexican I've had since San Diego. I've been twice, and the food is exceptional. The elites (street corn) is super tasty. The burritos have a perfect blend of ingredients cooked perfectly. The shrimp quesadilla had fresh shrimp mixed with onions, peppers, and cheese. The chips and salsa are spot on. The draft beer came in frozen glasses. The service was very prompt and polite. The place was very clean, with a fun atmosphere.

Burrito I had was good and the taco was good. One of the better options on the east side in my opinion. Beats all the food trucks and Mexican restaurants on E Washington for sure, out side the loop anyways. Definitely will go back
Dined in 3 different times with different ppl. Each time someone at my table had a long hair in their food. Wont go back. The food would have been excelent without the hair. Same dyed red and black haired waitress. Haters gonna hate. Im gonna eat somewhere else.
