Charlie Browns is a long time favorite for people and atmosphere. Feels like you are in Speedway. Comfort food as you expect it.

We stopped in for the first time, people were friendly, food was great and loved all the decorations.
This is a wonderful little diner. I went there twice while visiting Indy for a wedding. Usually Steak & Eggs at diners are the worst cuts of meat this was delicious seasoned to perfection and cooked just how I like it. While it wasn't the best cut it was far better than 99% of steak and eggs I've had. Came back with family the next day and everyone loved their meals. Skip Bob Evans this place is way better and the memorabilia is also a lot of fun.
best food ever

An awesome place for fans of the Indy 500 and Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
Awesome place for breakfast! There was about a 20 minute wait for a table, & it was busy the whole time we were there, but that's a sign of a good place to eat. The waitress said that they were short handed, but I thought the service was great anyway.
Quick service even on busy days, good pricing, friendly staff, and outstanding service. We are from out of town and lost a wallet before heading to the airport. We drove back as soon as possible to look for it. The employee had seen our out of state license and tried to get a hold of us any way she could- facebook, phone numbers, etc. Considerate people and a great atmosphere 👏👏👏

Tried to come while family was in town since there was outdoor seating and they say they’re dog friendly. When we got there we were told that they are not seating outside, and we obviously can’t bring the dog indoors, but I saw two other tables being seated and served outside… Pretty disappointing as we were really excited to try this place and were relatively new to the area and trying the local businesses. It makes me wonder if there was some other strange profiling reason they didn’t want to serve us or something, so I probably won’t try to come back due to that ):

This is the best breakfast spot. The place was packed but service was great, food was hot and fast and delicious. If you’re ever in Indy, and want a great experience, you gotta visit Charlie Brown’s!!!

Amazing food with amazing service in a classic diner setting..
Fathers' Day my wife and I were seated at 11:05 am. Within five minutes a server hadtaken our orders. At 12:15 one hour and ten minutes later we had not received our breakfast order and had not had our server come back to our table once. We had enough and left! Did not want to post a negative review for this place because it is a local restaurant and we want those to succeed yet this visit was ridiculous!

You have to try this place at least once. If you're a race fan you'll love it even more!
I haven't been to Charlie Brown's in a long time. It's still a good choice for diner style breakfast food. My Carb Benny was delicious. Unfortunately, the waffle was cold and not crispy. The French Toast looked good and so did the scrambled eggs. The race theme decor is interesting and unique. Our server was prompt and friendly.
