“I live 160 miles away where there is no Slavic food products. I was very happy to see this place when I came to Indy. Lots of nostalgia came back the minute I walked in. They have a nice selection of my ancestral foods from my mother’s side who is Ukrainian. The man who was working in the story is very friendly and was happy to answer any questions. He gave us a piece of honey cake and a piece of candy for toddler. I will be finding excuses to make the 3 hour drive to Indianapolis from now on. It’s very much worth it. Thank you for existing!“

“Our family absolutely loves this local gem. It’s become our post Holliday Park lunch spot and every one can get something they love. Prices are more than reasonable and the food is fresh and made in house with care. The tables are clean and employees are friendly and authentic. I remember going to places like this growing up; delis and cafes with locally made meals and familiar faces. Unfortunately genuinely great local spots like this are so few and far between now. “The reason I went to this place, our company was invited to a clients appreciation event by a realtor. The spot that the organizers were assigned was half of the restaurant. Although there was a huge turnout, especially on a day when Chicago cubs are playing, the guests with small children were reasonably comfortable. The host and servers were very attentive. I wish I remember their names! Awesome team! Someone is in-charge of going back and forth to make sure the food was well-replenished. I was part of the organizer and they were very pleasant and helped me every step of the way. Apart from their awesome customer service, their food was excellent. Their briskets, pork and beef, are tender, juicy, and delicious. Chicago hotdog lived up to its expectations. It was one of the most replenished dish. Will surely visit again as a guest. If you love good food, great customer service and expect a full ensemble of boisterous atmosphere, this is the place for you.“
