This place has the BEST tamales and tacos. Huge selection of authentic street tacos. I also recommend the churros. Fantastic food, great and friendly service, clean restaurant - HIGHLY recommend. I don’t think the word is out about this place yet - tell your friends!

In town for the weekend and was recommended Gil Tacos. It didn’t disappoint! I’m not from the Midwest, but I thoroughly enjoyed my bucket sized serving of horchata. Tacos were tasty, cup of corn was enormous as well and packed with layers of flavor.

Had the steak tacos and one done al pastor. Tasted great as expected. If you're not familiar with street tacos, they are smaller than some think. I typically order at least 3 and if I'm real hungry I'd do 4. Only mention this because I noticed some people were not aware of the portion size.
