Grindstone Charley's

The servers and the hosts are friendly, but that's where it ends with this place. The portion sizes and ratios are pathetic. Expect to be nickled and dimed if you ask for extra chips or bread. Expect to pay $14 for a large mug size bowl of buffalo chicken dip and given 10 chips and then being charged $2 per saucer of chips. Oh and the kitchen staff will make decisions for you and forget your condiments. Macaroni and cheese side was served in a dipping cup. I've been going here for decades. I'm not sure if Clancys is struggling because they've opened new restaurants
in Westfield and at the garage but their mainstay restaurant is lacking in quality. Luckily for this restaurant they have a gaggle of regulars, however I wiill not be one. Until things change, I'm taking my money elsewhere.

Food has no taste . Not fresh days old .. more like nursing home food .. green beans are so squishy before u chew turns into puree .. no napkins no silverware for a take out order

I was at immediately. Then waited 10 min and several had walked past. One waitress asked if I had been helped. She says I'll get you a drink and find your waitress. About 3 minutes later the waitress who walked past my table 3 times comes over says she didn't know she they cut the waitress for this area. Ok no problem. I ordered and got my good but she never checked on me walked past me. My drink was gone and put my dirty dishes to the side. She comes by gives me my check so I asked for a pop to go and paid. I totally get the waitress life but there were 4 other tables in the restaurant and there were 2 waitresses so for someone who receives tips I'm not asking for much and I have always tipped above 20% but not this time I didn't stiff but come on i could have given you more but waiting and then no check ups brought it down.

What a pleasant surprise! We had never been before, as we were traveling through town.

The food was delicious and well made. The Prime Rib was perfect. The ribs were great. And the beer selection was solid.

I ordered the Voodoo pasta, and it was surprisingly above-average. Usually, restaurants that have too much variety in their menu are never really good at ONE thing, but this pasta dish was quite good. Robyn served us during our experience, and she did an excellent job checking up on us and refilling our drinks when necessary. She was very hospitable and kind, and she made the atmosphere all the more enjoyable. The aesthetic of the actual restaurant itself was very good. I’m glad the TVs weren’t too loud, it made it really easy to have conversations with the people at my table, instead of being distracted by 4 gazillion screen all around me, like sports bars do. Thank you for everything!

The food quality has declined, service was slow and not super attentive and though I enjoy the atmosphere it wad kind of dirty and tired and the restrooms needed redone
