I wanted to try their new revamped menu, and I was NOT disappointed!! Fried chicken, yams, macaroni and cheese, greens, and cornbread....I was pleasantly surprised!! His Place Eatery AND Kountry Kitchen better watch out!! I had to come leave a review, because I was THAT pleased...nothing like having a taste for soul food and every item hits the spot....That butter on that cornbread was amazing, and the yams taste like grandma's sweet potato pie recipe!
The food was great. Live DJ was a nice touch. Cover charge $10 for entrance. Not sure what we got for that, maybe security? That was on point. Definitely felt safe there. Not a lot of lifestyle couples here lol. The best looking women are the employees so don’t expect to meet that special someone unless you’re searching for another bm/bd. The best dressed guys looked like deacons from your church. The music was good, the drinks were strong enough (4th star for that) the food was good. Wifey enjoyed the chicken, shrimp & fries combo.
