Howdy Homemade Ice Cream

My friends and I were in Indianapolis for an anime convention. After we ate at an Italian restaurant, we decided to stop by a local ice cream shop to get some ice cream. When we got there, there was a Jamaican themed party going on. Just everyone (staff and the community) having a great time. We got our ice cream and oh my goodness, it is definitely one of THE BEST ice creams I’ve had in a long time. (I had their cookie dough ice cream). The manager or owner (I’m not sure, very nice lady) came up and handed me a coupon for buy one get one free scoop. Her and her staff offered us some Jamaican food to have, but with being so full from dinner and their delicious ice cream, we had to decline. Amazing vibes, amazing ice cream. You’ll definitely see me again when I come back to Indianapolis. Thank you!

I’m just tryna get ice cream and the people in the back are yelling nonsense and the guy serving my ice cream sneezed into it. Never coming back.

What a great neighborhood gem. We stopped in after a bicycle ride on the Monon and Cultural Trail. The cherry sorbet was outstanding as was the chocolate ice cream. Great staff, highly recommend

Great ice cream, great service, reasonable price!

Disappointed in their options. No butter pecan or oreo. Had the salted caramel. It was good. Husband and kids liked theirs, too. But the service was fast and the 2 gentlemen helping us were very nice.

I LOVE this ice cream shop. Unfortunately I devoured the ice cream before taking a good photo. But we got the following flavors: cookie nomster, cherry cheesecake, Dr Pepper chocolate chip (phenomenal, best one), and cookies and cold brew. The service was friendly. Some of the best ice cream I’ve had in Indy!

A quick stop while in town for a convention. After checking menus in the area I absolutely had to try the Dr. Pepper Chocolate Chip … and it did not disappoint! Service was friendly, welcoming, and the interior was clean and adorable! I’ll be making this a tradition every year.

Absolutely loved the ice cream but what was better the atmosphere. Great supportive assistant manager and beautiful amazing staff. Next time I'm in town will definitely visit again. Thank you for the amazing things you all are doing.

My husband and I came in to find a quick stop and found a ice cream shop that cares. Everything was freshly made, staff did everything to welcome us in and make everything easier! Never had a better ice cream come in my 26 years of being alive

Truly some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I sampled several flavors and they were all incredible. You can definitely tell that it’s fresh and homemade. Will 100% be back and I’ll be recommending Howdy to everyone!! <3

I’m not kidding when I say that this is the best ice cream place I’ve ever been to. They have amazing customer service and the ice crème is incredible. Recommend the cinnamon toast or the dr pepper chocolate.
