Over seasoned, overpriced, & rude. Wouldn't recommend, and I love to support small businesses/food trucks so pretty disappointing

I actually tried the GobFather Jumbo Jive food truck.Kinda wish I could give 3 and 1/2 stars because there are things I liked and disliked.I got the turkey with Cajun rice with alfreado cheese sauce and side of greens.The turkey is perfect, tender and smokey. I really liked the cheese sauce. The rice was mildly spiced but still had to add some hot sauce. The portion is a good size. Got filled up and still saved a little portion for lunch tomorrow.The greens could have been cooked a little more, for my taste and they were only collards. All that is neither good or bad, just different from the way I do mine. The flower was good and smokey but again, I added hot sauce.Watch out for the bones and the price. The dinner menu is 25 to 30 a plate. I think the sandwiches are 12 to 15.They said and I've read that if you get a whole leg and side that would be enough for 2 people and I believe it so maybe rthats the more cost effective way to go.You will need to follow them on FB or their website and sign up for texts as they only have the food truck now.The lady taking orders and serving was very nice and social.Saved up your dollars and least give them a taste.

I finally tried Jumbo Jive and I must say I was shocked! I really didn’t think I would like it…I mean turkey leg? I figured it would be kinda and dry…but I loved it. Flavored just right and tasty. I will definitely be back. I would love to try more of their dish. Please don’t hesitate guys!

I recently ordered the Godmother from this food truck. It was my first time eating here and he has horrible customer service. The prices on the menu are confusing. I got my food and the rice was very mushy and inedible. Eat at your own risk.

Great food, full of flavor. The service is always good; they make sure to go above and beyond for your needs. This is typically a place you will get take out from. I recommend calling ahead to order or ordering online for pick up.

Spent $55 on two of them the Gobfather and the Seafood Mac and cheese there was no seafood my rice was hard either it was undercooked or old very disappointed to say the least the legs were not fall off the bone it was dry and tough just sad.

Sad I ask for a pulled turkey with sauce on the side got a turkey leg with sauce everywhere on I was on my way work !!!!!

I went to this establishment to try a turkey leg as I never have. They have so many different flavors and options. I got the gobfather option with Alfredo sauce that was delicious.
when I found out Indy had stuffed turkey legs I was so excited. I've been waiting to go to try this food truck! They go to different locations throughout the weekend and I finally was able to visit I pre-ordered online so my wait wouldn't be long when I got there I had The Gobfather, stuffed with cajun rice, creole alfredo and shaved parmasean. (you can add shrimp to any of their stuffed turkey legs for an extra fee) the meat was falling off the bone and the flavor of everything was so good! I will definitely visit them again.

They give the location on 7/31/2022 Sunday at 2040 E Riverside Dr Indianapolis 4pm to 9pm. However after driving 17 miles to get there I find their truck but it's not open. No sign either. Maybe that's why they basically have no reviews.
