The sushi and appetizers were wonderful. The clam chowder was the best ive had at a restaurant in years. However the main entree i had was the ahi is it was extremely under seasond as well as my friends cowboy steak. They felt like after thoughts on the menu that had no real flavor. It wasn't enough to make me not want to go back just know that those to dishes need reworked or taken off the menu. Try something else. For a price point of over $30 for a meal that had now flavor...
Yesterday afternoon, the sun was hitting the patio just right, one of those rare, spectacular Indiana days you never take for granted. I was sitting outside at Kona Jacks in Indy with a new colleague who just moved here from the East Coast.
He stared at the menu, tracking his finger up and down the seafood section, his face growing more tense by the second as he tried to decide what to order. You could practically see the coastal snobbery warring with his hunger....

Kona's is one of our go to eateries. We love the sushi there and have always been pleased with the quality. This evening we decided our favorite roll was not to our expectations. We will return in the future to try again.
