They've updated the store by adding more self checkout machines and had only 2 employees working the registers. They have more employees walking around not really doing work. They hang out in groups chatting instead of up keeping the store. Most fruits and vegetables have gone rotten. I got a bag of potatoes that was mushy and strawberries that was moldy. The floors were clean and shelves wasn't messy. Some foods are moved out of place that don't match up with the SKU tags. The bathrooms are always disgusting hold it or go to the McClure on the corner. I still come here because it's close to where I live so I just wish they would have good work ethic.

This location should be closed! Filthy conditions from the parking lot and throughout the store. Employees do nothing to clean up the conditions or help customers. Kroger should be ashamed to have their name on this store. We go several miles to go to a different store.

WHY do I keep stopping by here!!!!! I drive by this store a lot and sometimes it's just more convenient to stop by. BUT every time I do, the lines are outrageous!!! And I walk out swearing I will never return. BUT here I am again- in line! The staff are friendly and helpful. Maybe staff shortage? Maybe poor management??

Although the staff r very nice in the pharmacy,they r under staffed. They either get my prescriptions wrong/or make me wait sometimes 3 days.Ive arrived 2 pickup @ designated time only 2b told I have 2 wait another 30 minutes... online it says:open @9 AM when in truth they open @10 AM (another wasted trip) Ive called 2 speak w pharmacy & it's rang 4 OVER 10 minutes-then they answer & put me on hold AGAIN Another time an Employee answered & couldn't Pronounce any of the medications I was asking for & clearly wasn't familiar with this department.(she sounded like she came straight from the Hood)-REALLY? If u can AVOID this store-u should

Just an update... Kroger now says they refunded my mothers money but to someone else's acct. 2 months later... we're stiiiiiiiil waiting! Beware if you're a kroger shopper & double check your receipts with your account withdraw!

It's conveniently located which is a plus. My only issue with this Kroger are the people who bag the groceries. They can't bag groceries to save their life. bagging groceries should definitely be part of the training. I usually just go to self check out to avoid this.

This Kroger has the best customer service. Especially from a gentleman Mr. Tucker. He was very pleasant when helping us choose our meat for a special occasion. He went above and beyond and we appreciated it so much!

I provided Kroger on 71st with 4 stars because they finally had my favs. Rosslyn Bakery buttermilk cookies. I was so happy.Though, i was originally there to pick up some pie shells for my mother. The store was clean. And the staff was friendly. The young lady who assisted me was helpful and friendly so kuddos to her! Thank you again Kroger on 71st !

I have shopped this Kroger at 71st and Georgetown for 20+ years and have never been treated like I was tonight. I just stopped in after working a 12 hour shift just to pick up a few things so I wouldn't have to go out tomorrow on my day off. I chose the shortest line, put my groceries up to be checked out and I soon found out why the line was so short. The cashier was helping the customer DOWNLOAD THE KROGER APP SO SHE COULD GET THE DISCOUNT! HELLO! After I waited patiently for about 5-7 minutes, I asked what was going on. LaKesha Harris, the cashier was extremely rude and obviously ignorant! Did the customer not know she wanted the discount before she came to the store and I was expected to wait quietly while it took them at least 15 minutes that I know about (I don't know how long she was there before I got there.). So the cashier next to her took my merchandise and checked me out agreeing with me that she (Lakesha Harris) handled the situation all wrong and did I mention she kept being rude and was shouting over smart remarks even as the other cashier was checking me out! I reported her to the manager but I doubt that anything will even happen to her. Is this what our society has come to, whatever happened to good customer service!! It seems that they are doing me a favor by allowing me to shop in their store and get treated like S*** all at the same time!!! Thank you Kroger!!!!

This is a perfectly adequate Kroger for daily shopping needs. Not a huge variety of options, but with a surplus of shopping options around it's not necessary. It's kept clean and relatively well stocked, I haven't needed to speak to an employee yet.

It's near where I work so I visit quite often. No real problem unless they don't have my avocados! Hahahahaha! Employees are great.
