No flavor, got the Thai tea and they got it wrong the first time, I got chai and it was horrible, I had to ask for the right item which was Thai tea, and it has no flavor, no taste, no sweetener at all. The worker was rude and mad because of her own mistake.

I so wanted to like this place that after an underwhelming first try i gave them a second chance. Unfortunately, both times were a miss. Im not sure if food gets cooked the day before and reheated, but both times the temperature was almost cold for foods that should have been hot. This also makes me question food safety, because the manager or whomever should be checking the line before food is sent out.
And yes, service can be a little slow. Considering the food was served close to cold I wonder what took so long.

Terrible tacos. Terrible black beans. Terrible nachos. Expensive. I went to the location inside the garage in Indy.

La Chinita Poblana is one of the many restaurants inside of The Garage in Indianapolis. The Garage itself is super cool. Pretty much just one giant food hall with a lot of cool options. La Chinita Poblana’a Mexican Asian fusion really interested me so that’s where I stopped. Pretty much just your standard burrito bowl but I was able to have mine with Korean Steak which was really good! Overall, a really good meal and a cool atmosphere!

Worst restaurant in the entire food hall. Asked for no queso in a burrito due to a dairy allergy. First bite into burrito was full of queso. Went up nicely to ask if it can be remade and manager said “that’s not cheese that’s lettuce”. I opened the burrito for her and said how is this lettuce and showed her all the cheese and all she says is “oh my fault”. No apology and when I said why would you say that’s lettuce she says “don’t yell at me or you won’t get your money back”. Save your money from this absolute garbage of a restaurant

The burrito is too soggy, unnecessarily huge amount of cheese, the rice inside the burrito was undercooked. I love Mexican food but this was a total dissapointment.
*Edit: Thank you for the store's kind response. This is very polite and I appreciate it!👏
Was very excited to take my first bite because the food looked so good. Huge disappointment, no flavor, not enough meat in my chicken and steak bowl. Never coming back!

This experience was such a huge disappointment. We went in yesterday and I bought two Korean Steak Tacos and two Al Pastor. Yes, each taco is double wrapped, but the tortillas are just microwaved which makes them soft and makes them peel. Then the meat makes the tortillas too soggy which causes them to fall apart and it just makes a huge mess. The Al Pastor tasted like nothing. But the Korean Steak tacos actually had good flavor. They weren’t busy so I don’t understand why they couldn’t have lightly cooked/toasted the tortillas with some salsa to harden them up, give them flavor and hold the meat. This simple step could have elevated the experience but of course they just want to charge $5 per taco while putting no effort into peoples food. My partner got a tilapia bowl that he didn’t like and was charged extra for guac that was old and stale. I also got their “Cafe de Olla” which is sort of cinnamon infused coffee that was definitely not worth $5. Overall we paid $55 plus parking for a meal we didn’t enjoy. I am not going back to this food hall.

Great service. Tacos tasted great but the construction of them is not amazing. Make sure you get a fork and a plate!

pretty good food, shrimp is not best option for taco, taco bowl is just like chipotle but better; located within garage food hall so a little noisy with everything else

We came for the churros and were disappointed in them. Idk what the filling in there is but it tasted like the inside of a hippy shop. Our lunches were incredible though, I had a giant burrito and my date enjoyed the nachos.

I'm not a connoisseur of mexican food and the food hall concept doesn't afford much space for a vendor to differentiate themselves besides the quality of the food itself, but the food was good to me and portions were generous. Maybe a tad on the pricy side, but we got drinks and the food was good, so I'd go back.

I like the Thai milk tea however the boba was way overcooked. I also really like their vegan quesadillas. Tofu is very yummy and marinated well. But sad that they don't have the eggplant anymore. Overall I like the place pretty good.
