I had the new shrimp and rice dinner. Ended up having to come home and find something else to eat. The portions are getting smaller and the service at this location is horrid. About done with this rip off place.

So I have to confess. I haven't been to this chain in years and years. Never gave it much credit. I always order fish and chips from a local pub. I was craving it but my local pub only has fried fish on Fridays. I ran over to Captain D's. I love their fried okra and their fried green tomatoes. But not their fish. Closed for now. Driving home I saw that the local Long John John Silver on Stop. 11 and US 31 just north of Greenwood Indiana were actually open for business during this coronavirus crisis. There was a few cars in line but I went ahead and pulled in. I was surprised and impressed to find that they've really upgraded their menu. They have several grilled fish options. And even some non-seafood options now. And you can add a side of salmon or shrimp etc. to any order. I ordered the fried fish and fries since that's what I was craving and my two sides were hush puppies. So that was three orders of hush puppies LOL. I ordered the add-on salmon. Not expecting much. I have to say it was really good. Wasn't that greasy dry fried food of the past. And a third of the cost of my local pub. The add-on side is only 3.99 and it makes a nice meal in itself. I didn't wait that long but I did wait a little while. And the cashier was so apologetic and I kept telling her she had nothing to apologize for. I will definitely be back and give this local chain more chances in the future. If you're on the southside of Indianapolis and craving seafood drive-through they are open.

Young lady at the register took my bank card out of site with the excuse of the register by window not working. She did not just offer this Intel, ONLY when I asked her why she took my card out of view! 4 days later she went shopping online. My bank alerted me because I've NEVER used my card for anything online in the 10yrs I've banked with them (THANK YOU WOODFORREST BANK). O I haven't been that upset in a long time! I have not nor will I ever go back here!

Not good, every time we order take out it gets messed up...tonight my husband went with a written list,asked if they had grilled shrimp and salmon because I wanted a combo meal, the girl at the counter said they had the grilled shrimp....he comes home and it's fried shrimp and not a combo...I don't eat their fried foods because my stomach can't tolerate it....but this is every time we get take out,,,,if you want your order correct you need to eat there but they keep it so cold inside in the winter you can't enjoy your food...plus the food quality isn't as good....I'd rather not go back.....this is not grilled shrimp

Horrible customer service! We went there yesterday n noticed theres only 2 ppl working in the kitchen (preparing oder from drive thru), so nobody at the front counter at all! Somebody inside eventually said, "will be there shortly", which we understand given the situation (short staffed).

After ordering, we noticed many tables were dirty. We were the only people in the place, and employees were sitting when we arrived. All the sauces were out. Every time I got up to refill drinks, employees were sitting and playing on their phones. There was plenty of things that needed cleaned/attention, but no one did anything.

This is the dirtiest LJS I've ever been in. On top of the messy tables everywhere, when I walked in, the workers (3) were sitting down and playing on their phones. They didn't even try to hide being on their phones and sitting down either. If half of your tables are filthy, shouldn't be sitting down on your butt, playing on your phone. Won't be back.

Messed up ringing my order up cause the cashier wasn't listening. The 2 people working (cashier and mgr) seemed like they didn't want to be there, they both seemed unhappy. If you don't like your job find another one.

Food was good. Long wait to get our food though. There was only one person ahead of us and it took 10 minutes to get his order and another 10 minutes to get ours and we ordered simple fish dinners.
