This East Washington St McAlister's has by far the nicest, most genuine staff and ALWAYS puts care and attention to the orders. Never had a so-so meal or average at this location. Staff, food, and ambience is PERFECT!

This location is sometimes hit and miss for us. Lately they have been forgetting something in our order almost everytime we order and pick up. This last time they forgot almost half the order.

Edit: I've grown sick of this location over time. They always get something wrong during pick up. This time they forgot a lemonade, my kids mac and cheese was liquid slop with no noodles. No straws. Not coming back here, do yourself a favor and go to a different location.

Chicken Caesar salad was served with plastic cups of dressing pressed into and smashed on top of salad inside of the to go container. (gross) Asked for the salad to be remade and was given a salad with 4 croutons and 4 small shavings of chicken that were as thin as skin. Potato soup had absolutely no thickness to it. Watered down and milky. This meal gets two thumbs down. Very disappointed, the food is typically good. I will not be returning to the E. Washington location in Indy.

I’ve always had great things to say about this McAllisters. The staff has amazing hospitality (making sure your order is correct, you’re getting the best deals, welcoming you when you walk in, etc.) and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. I did a pickup order through the app and received a hand written card. I’ve never gotten one from a restaurant before, and I’ve been going to this location since I was a kid. Though they don’t know that, it still made my order feel all the more special. Thank you guys for all that you do! I cannot recommend this location enough!

I eat there once in a while and doordash for them too. The food is good and they always have orders ready for pick up. As a dasher many places ignore doordashers, but not this place.

I walk in and the people working always let me know whats going on with the order im there to pick up.

I forgot how great the black cherry tea was. I ordered a veggie spud. The potato was a bit overcooked but was still eatable. All the veggie toppings was perfect though.

$15 for a cold sandwich and runny mac & cheese. Way overpriced ,cheap quality food, soggy bread. If I wanted a cold lunch meat sandwich I’d get bologna and save some money! What a waste of money! Will never be back!

This is the gang from work, some of us are retired and some still working there. We get together for lunch and get to talking and laughing it goes into dinner. This McAlister was so accommodating even gave us all a cookie 🍪 we love each other and don't get together often enough.
